A Season TO Change Is Here

leejohndrowteamThis morning I felt the words “season of change” come from no where. Wait! It was the season TO change.

Many people will experience seasons OF change. Those changes may or may not be implemented by choice. You may have had nothing to do with it. Some of those reasons might be good. Some not so.

But, THIS is the season TO change.

It is not only about bucket lists or things you want to do, but may well incorporate the “need to” change list.

Perhaps your boss has asked you to do something and you have put it off.  Let this be your season to change. Maybe a family member has placed a well thought out request on your list of “changes” that would be beneficial to you and your family. Time to embrace it.

Maybe it includes school or health. Perhaps THIS is the time.

This week I had the pleasure of watching some very good changes come about in my grandchildren. Some of these were in fact, seasons OF change, but there were a number of the season To change.

In my book I speak of the redemptive power of God that walks with you. The power that helps especially if you or I allow it to happen. That grace. That empowerment of God through you gives you the ability TO change. God has given you gifts that are amazing. He has released to His children power and might. Ability and agility.

A season to change is appearing. For me. For you.

It is one think to think on Esther and her call “for such a time as this” but it is entirely a new way of thinking and implementation to walk it out. To engage. To move.

Even as I wrote that I saw folks who had words that had been spoken over them “framed” on walls. Instead of pictures of graduations or special occasions the words hung there. Doing nothing but painfully reminding many of lost seasons, of hurt and of disruption.

Today there is a new word. A season TO do. Not from selfish efforts or levels of activity. But from a place of victory. A place from overflow. A kingdom expansion. From a place of rest.

And then those pictures changed to pictures of victory.

It is time to remove the pictures of what could have been and make some new pics of what is and what is being done now.

Today is your day! Now is your season.

When you look back at this NOW you will see WON…
