Broadcasting His Name (Where Are The Scribes?)

kids drawingToday I saw my articles reposted on a Pet site, a business site and a site about addictions. I find life so interesting! As I checked to see which articles I was struck with the fact that my view of God and how He functions and transforms me, is reaching people I “never” would have thought about reaching out. And I am assured that the same is true for you as well.

My friend Mark mentioned yesterday that we ought to have “scribes” or recorders. Ezra was a scribe and a priest. What is a scribe? From the dictionary. a member of a learned class in ancient Israel through New Testament times studying the Scriptures and serving as copyists, editors, teachers, and jurists. The scribes carried forth religious, historical and legal text. Our need for a scribe or two is perhaps to chronicle the goodness of the Lord and broadcast His awesomeness. Some might argue it is not necessary to announce God. I assure you it is not for Him, but for you!

Psalm 45:1 To the choirmaster: according to Lilies. A Maskil of the Sons of Korah; a love song. My heart overflows with a pleasing theme; I address my verses to the king; my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe. (My grandson Jacob draws pictures of the angels and the things he sees during a service.)

Let the testimonies flow. Consider posting your testimony in the comment section below. Let others know the goodness of God in your life.
