Make A Memory Today

dronesofheaven

2015-11-06 11.05.36I decided to make a memory. My grandson was visiting. He is a low maintenance child. Does not demand a lot and is often pretty funny. But whether he was high maintenance or not, making memories is what people ought to consider. (It is hard to bemoan the condition of the world if you are not putting an oar in the water to get somewhere.) Continue reading Make A Memory Today

Practice, Purpose & Beauty

2015-09-05 12.52.11“Practice random kindness and senseless acts of beauty”

If I did not believe something, I wanted to prove my thinking. Continue reading What Is The Question?

For the first time since I was a child we had a family vacation. It consisted of two grandparents, five children and seven grandchildren. It took place on a lake in the middle of “Nowhere” New York. Somehow, some way we got everyone away at the same time to the same place. Continue reading Living Legacy – What Does That Mean?

The Way Of An Eagle

leejohndrowteamYesterday I had the opportunity to take a canoe ride with my daughter Amy. A father daughter time. She jokingly said, “do I have to paddle” and I said “no”.

At first she was afraid as the canoe made noise, shuddering with each paddle stroke and the wind picking up as we got into open waters. But soon she relaxed and we were talking. We talked about business and family, but then I saw an eagle soaring in the winds. Continue reading The Way Of An Eagle
