This morning I felt the words “season of change” come from no where. Wait! It was the season TO change.
Many people will experience seasons OF change. Those changes may or may not be implemented by choice. You may have had nothing to do with it. Some of those reasons might be good. Some not so. Continue reading A Season TO Change Is Here
As I related to a friend a recent situation in which I had given a word, I could feel the chills. Why chills? A while ago a person received a word from me. The word involved lots of changes in this person’s life. And they acted upon it! Continue reading Driven By Love? A Thought
Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
My expectation. My expectation?
A few weeks ago a prophetic voice began to write me. His most recent interaction with me had to do with this thought. This is what he said to me. Continue reading What Is My High Expectation?
Change is inevitable.
How we think. What we think. What we do. What we choose to not do. People come and people go.
But what does not change is God and heaven’s promise and promises. God is not fickle. Continue reading In The Midst Of Change There Is Jesus
There is a quote that says “all change is preceded by chaos.” Even if that is true, it is the man or woman who can take chaos and bring forth meaning and change of the God kind I am seeking.
God brought order out of darkness. Continue reading All Change Is Preceded By…
Last night I had the opportunity to participate in a fun time called “Guess who is coming to dinner”? A number of people chose to be the hosts. Other people agreed to be guests. The lady who thought about doing this put all the names of the guests in a hat. As she picked the people she assigned them to the next host on the list. Guests brought food and hosts had their homes ready. Amazing! So much fun. Continue reading Perfect Love In Imperfect People
The following is something I wrote some nearly ten years ago.
When I was young I was on a camping trip and we had gone a very long way into the wilderness. And as we approached the lake I could see their was still ice in the distance. I thought, the last place I want to be is in that water. On the other hand, I had sweated myself up to the place where not being clean was high on my agenda. So, as we circled everything up and got things prepared for dinner, I decided I was going to take a swim. I went over to a little bank, perhaps 4-5 above the water and looked in and decided a shallow dive and a quick swim over to the small “beach.” Now, I will tell you, my brothers and I played hockey on a few marginally frozen ponds and going through the ice had not been “that bad.” Probably because I had neglected to remember that it had probably not included total immersion. In I went. As soon as I hit that water with the tips of my fingers, I knew that life was going to be exciting. As I plunged in I felt what could only be described as heart stopping. My swim was as short as I could make it. And let me tell you it was a rush. I was giddy, trying to think through. I got out of the water and more cold took over. Now, that was cold weather camping or winter camping. Continue reading Rejoice For God Is Here!
Virtually everyone at one time or other has received a dream, a vision, a feeling or impression. The question is not that we receive but what we respond with. Continue reading The Need To Grow Up And Grow Forth
Last night our home group was on the topic of Hearing God For Your Family. Frankly it is an emotional topic because we came from family! Perhaps in your mind it was non-existent but somehow some way there was a parent or two, which means grandparents. Family. Continue reading Hearing For The Family Fantastic
We walked around looking at the track. One section of the train track was in need of repair. And then there was the train itself. The chief came over to us and said “everything you have been doing is on hold. The only thing I want from you is to get this train up and running”. Continue reading Can You Hear The Train?
