Yesterday at work was one of those “I don’t know if I can take anymore” days. It seemed like everything I went to do was blocked by something, someone, somehow. I spent a lot of the day in frustration. I was not slamming things or that kind of stuff, but I was finding it easy to get distracted and not wanting to keep going. By the end of the day the 3-4 sales I thought might be accomplished were sitting on the sidelines and leaving at 5:30 I was so tired I was just looking for a place to lie down. One of the things we do not like to speak about in the church, is discipline. (And it seems like when we have, it is steeped with condemnation.)We don’t like it because it places a requirement on us. But self discipline falls under the same heading or meaning as self control. And God likes it!

In the middle of the night I awoke from a dream. In the dream a person was wandering around, unable to connect with any one. They would move from one person to another. Sometimes for a moment and sometimes for longer. As I lay in the darkness and thought about it I began to realize something. It had to do with the topic of value. Value of one’s self and value of others.
Only yesterday I spent time with someone trying to explain their “lifestyle” was becoming problematic to their relationships. Not so sure they bought it. Why? Because they were right. It is easier to “move on” than it is to “stay in”. Continue reading In The Garden There Is Fruit→

Last night I had the opportunity of being with some close friends. We talked about supernatural and spiritual things. I was sharing some of the things that many might think “crazy” but only in the church do we spend time “cataloging” sins, experiences, etc.. So many are more concerned with the deception they might encounter that they miss out on the experiences God might produce. I know God. I am not “worried” about being deceived. Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. If it were possible!
Last night I was in a large cafeteria much like the one I was in when I was a child. The large tables folded up to be put to the side. They were big. A group of friends were with me and we were sitting at a table neared the end. The last table had a group of young men perhaps 12-15 years of age.
