Your NOW Is Here!

preachingatvillageIt could be right now. Today.

Too often we think everything is down the road, when in fact it has the potential to be in your today. I do not disagree with timing or seasons, but sometimes we hold onto that “get ready for tomorrow, today” in situations that warrant a NOW! Continue reading Your NOW Is Here!

Change That Changes

leejohndrowteamLast night I pondered my day and while I was sitting upstairs I thought, what is it that I can release into the atmosphere that I would know would change someone’s life. The thought came to me that I wanted to see myself somewhere else. I wanted a visitation to a “visible” heavenly place. I was not looking for angels or the Lord but I was seeking a piece of real estate “somewhere else”. Instantly I found myself “moving”. The purpose of my trip or the journey itself is not important. What is important is that while things were changing for me they were changing for other people. Continue reading Change That Changes

In My Weakness He Is Made Strong

alone1My face was numb from the stress that was incurred. I worked hard not to let my feelings be known. I simply walked away. Later I thought about the “trauma” I had endured. The pain I had felt. And As much as I wanted to engage it, I knew that it was small, infinitesimal compared to what Jesus had endured. Paul had embraced. Continue reading In My Weakness He Is Made Strong

Overhauled Once And For All

leejohndrowteamIn my dream a client of mine called me every day for a new part. Earlier in the year he had made the purchase of a computer. Each day he would call and tell me what he needed to make it better. Make it run faster. Early on I had “found” this “part number” that allowed him to completely overhaul his computer. One time. Once and for all. Never to have to work on it again. His answer was “no”, that he would keep on doing it his way. Continue reading Overhauled Once And For All

Sent To The World

2014-09-21 13.20.19This morning I saw a vision that captivated me. It was not long, but it was powerful.

What I saw were men and women of all ages coming into cities and communities. I was reminded of the scripture from the book of Jonah 3:3, So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey in breadth. And like Jonah they were bringing a message. Continue reading Sent To The World

Mundanity – You Don’t Have To Live There!

What if...
What if…

Too often in our lives we encounter mundanity. We begin something and it it lasts longer than we had anticipated. Or perhaps circumstances in our life have changed causing the need for the existence to last but a little longer. Continue reading Mundanity – You Don’t Have To Live There!

Lay Hands Upon The Sick…

baptizedThe young woman came to my store every day. Each day she would come by after school and stop in. She was smart, articulate and interesting. She would talk about her hopes and her dreams. She would talk about what she was going to be and where she was going to go. About the world she wanted to see. Continue reading Lay Hands Upon The Sick…

characterTreadmill

The last few days I have watched this recurring vision. A vision of a treadmill. Now many people use treadmills. A treadmill is great for walking or running when it is cold outside. But the reality of it is, it is nothing like being outside walking. And where do you go? Where do you end up?

I should say in advance I am not a big treadmill fan. There is nothing wrong with them, they just aren’t me. I am an outside kind of guy. I like walking along rivers and through the woods. Continue reading You Can Get Off Anytime
