What Does This Mean? Valuing Discernment

helicopter1Last night I was in a dream. Somewhere deep in the dream, my wife woke me with “What is that? When?” I came out of the dream quickly. I moved into thinking someone was in the house. After assuring myself everything was okay, I went back to bed. (She had already gone back to sleep!)

I did not sleep well after. I looked for the place I was in the dream. I had left part of “me” behind. My last recollections in the dream were moving into a home to help people. It was a war zone. I had a knapsack and it had my “possessions” and they were left behind. In this knapsack were supplies. I know they will use them, but I felt empty. Drained. Continue reading What Does This Mean? It Is Time To Do Mighty Exploits!

veldt1252014 Dream

The death squads moved quickly across the veldt. Quietly, other than their shadows no one would have known they were there. They children were huddled up in the corner of the room. Fear was visible on their faces. And then a great light shown in the room.

At first I thought it was a flashlight from one of the men outside, but quickly the light enveloped the room and seemed to dissolve.

The next scene was at a table. The children were laying quietly on the rug in the corner of the room. Looking out the window, I realized we were about 5 kilometers from where we had been just seconds ago. Continue reading It Is Time To Do Mighty Exploits!

Where Do You Turn?

2013-08-22 10.50.40I have noticed a phenomenon that concerns me, not for religion’s sake but for the fact that I desire a higher quality of living in people’s lives. It is that  of seeking alternatives to God and His provision.

When I came into the kingdom of light, my health was not high. I had gone through times of severe depression which led to obesity and the related side effects. I took medicines like candy and thought the fix remained on the aisles of the local pharmacy. When I became a believer I had my eyes opened to the scripture found in the book of 1 Peter. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Continue reading Where Do You Turn?

What Are You Looking For?

zombiesIt’s not there! Yay! Gone! My sin is gone!

I spent a lot of my walk with God missing understanding about various scriptures in regard to grace. There was a time where I was sin conscious and not God conscious especially when it came to me.

Stop looking to be a zombie!

The last few days there has been a lot of food in my home. Everything from pies, pastries and cookies, (Did you know *Peter Percival…?) to turkey, ham, potatoes and more. (I limit myself and avoid **sweet potatoes!) So much food with so little time. Continue reading What Are You Looking For?

Healing and You

Lee JohndrowThe Lord has been speaking to me about healing. A few years ago David Wagner gave me a word about healing. I have pondered it, thought about it and done what I believe I could as I asked God to reveal more and more to me.

In the meantime we are hearing of some powerful testimonies about God healing cancer and all manners of illness. Weekly I hear of the power of God moving in people’s lives bringing healing.

I am a reader and I do follow the news. Not to become fearful, but to speak into the things that I believe need to be changed. This week I ran across two headlines.

‘We’ve reached the end of antibiotics’: Top CDC expert declares that ‘miracle drugs’ that have saved millions are no match against ‘superbugs’ because people have overmedicated themselves…

And

Study: Reservoir Of Hidden HIV Possibly 60 Times Greater Than Previous Estimates

Neither one of those intimidates God. He has healed the sick and raised the dead. (Funny that yesterday our children’s church teacher taught the kids about raising the dead. On the way home Jacob prayed for a sick friend and then he started with “raise the dead, raise the dead, raise the dead.” Yeah-that’s what I am talking about!)

We are in time where it is not time to be fearful but to recognize the power of the finished work of Jesus and the stripes He bore on His back to pay for your healing.

I am not fearful. God knows He heals. And if He knows it we ought to as well. He says to “lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover.”  Doesn’t get much easier than that.

If you are sick, God is desirous to see you whole, healed and delivered of illness.

All those headlines really mean is we can still turn to Him.

The Spirit of Restoration

Yesterday morning while getting ready for service, I could feel the words “The Spirit of Restoration” being pressed into my thinking. During worship it got stronger and stronger. I shared with my friend that I really believed I was seeing something.

I released it with my words during the rest of service just mouthing the words and getting a feel of what God was saying. Not a public thing but a personal thing. Frankly I was not sure how to see it through. So, I left it in the air during the day. Continue reading The Spirit of Restoration

Bumps Along The Way

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

Years ago the Lord spoke to my heart and said “many are the ones who carry scars of the past, but those who allow for wounds to be untouched and not stop bleeding will never see resolution.”

This morning I awoke and I was thinking about a dream I had. In the dream the Lord showed me people who had given up just inches from their victory, moments from their deliverance. I was reminded of the old cartoons where a man would head for an oasis in a desert seeking water. Many skeletons were found just minutes from the waters of the respite. I’m The Captain Of The Ship

This morning I was talking to someone afflicted by pain. Many are “going through something.” I get it. I also know that the answer to your affliction well resides in you. James even says “are you afflicted? Pray.” (James 5:13) It also instructs one who is sick to go the elders of the church. Continue reading It’s The Masked Marauders! Stop Them!

In Need Of A Healing?

Hitting the target
A word for today.

From time to time I have needed healing in my body, just as others have. I had to trust God for my healing. You may be in that place yourself. God wants you healed and made whole. (1 Chronicles 16:34; 1 John 4:16).

When we are sick it is always God’s heart to heal and restore health and life to you.
Jesus paid the full price for your healing, health and wholeness so you could experience His abundant life. Today, there is no symptom in your body that is too insignificant for Him to care about, and no condition that is greater than what His finished work has accomplished.
