The Restoration Of Vehicles

mustangI walked down each row of vehicles. I was looking for the right car. (Funny, my wife has been asking me lately “if you could have any car…”.)The problem was that all the cars seemed to be “white” and they certainly all look the same! (One of my pet peeves as I have grown.) Finally, somehow, after what seemed to be hours I found “the car”. Lines, color and awesome. I went over to the sales person and we assembled the deal. I had my car! I went and drove it home. I enjoyed the feel, the looks, the features. But most of all, I think I enjoyed the atmosphere!

I had the car for a week or so and one morning there was a knock at the door. “Mr. Johndrow, we have come for the car. We apologize, but we sold you the wrong car. You can have another choice.” “Uhh…no… I am not sure what you are talking about, but let’s go down to the dealer together.” And we did. I walked in the office and I began to speak to the sales manager. Apparently this was not a used car but a new car and they had sold it for thousands less. I simply told them, it was not my problem and as sorry as I was for the difficulty, it was not going to happen. I called my lawyer and he spoke to them. Sheepishly, they turned to me after the call and said “enjoy the car”.

“Thanks, I will!”

Awakening from that dream, I thought for the second time in less than 24 hours that the enemy is trying to play havoc. That he is trying to take the promises of God and reduce them to nothingness. God gives promises. He bestows callings and He establishes mantles of call.

I believe the vehicle represented calling in this case. (Not always what I believe, but here I do.) Something unique to me had been given. (He has given a unique call and calling to you as well. Even this morning I am reminded of words of Bob Jones to me in 2002. And his last words I heard in 2013. I believe they are light and light and need to be held.)And true to the enemy’s nature, he is running about working hard to diminish the gift, to tarnish the blessing, even that which was “paid for”.

Yesterday, I was reviewing a dream with someone and I said, “comfort is not rest”. Since I said it, I have thought a lot about it. You can be comfortable and not be in the “rest of God”.

The enemy has been defeated, but it is you and I who must enforce the victory.

Last night’s dream showed me there are many who have been called and have been “sure” of it, but somehow the enemy has worked his way in to their thinking. It may be circumstance or situations, economics or health, but they are struggling with the idea that they were “ever really called”. I am here today to tell you this is a deception of the enemy. (I truly understand those cave days!) “Am I really called to this?”

Today I hear the winds of God blowing across our land. I see fog covered thinking being cleared. I see clouds of despair being moved away. I see the restoration of minds and of health. Even as I look over New England I hear this word, “sanctuary”. Today there is a change in the air.

My prayer is for those who have questioned the call of God in their lives. Today I encourage you to go to the Lord and seek His answers, His heart for you today.

I looked at the landscape of our region and I saw cars that were “taken” back because folks did not understand their rights or their ministry and calling. I saw vehicles parked by the road because of the enemy. I believe in this area we will see the restoration coming and again I hear “sanctuary”. I see men and women being brought into New England homes and seeing their health restored and them being made whole. No longer is New England to be considered the “frozen chosen” or a “hard place” or a “reserved people” but I see a “place of embrace” coming.

Even now I watch a broken down couple walking down the path to a beautiful home in the woods. As the hosts walk with them I see their spirits begin to lift. I hear bits of conversation. “Why would you do this for us? We never thought we would be able to think about it again.” (The other day a young woman was returned to her home after being held hostage for 9 months. Her name in Hebrew meant “my father is joy”. I remember she represents destiny.)

Here is to the restoration of men and women and their destiny, their calling and their joy.

Salmon And The Land Of New England

Ready for God to express Himself.
Ready for God to express Himself.

Like many children I learned to fish at my dad’s feet. My dad had been an awesome fisherman. He fished all kids of fish, all kinds of places. One of the main rivers he took us to fish was a tributary to the Connecticut River. I loved to fish and while I preferred lake fishing and live bait, I learned the ways of the river and the fish.

Last night I was in a meeting and I saw my dad, I saw fish and I saw something that I saw from roughly 1995-2001. It was during that time I saw something involving fish and spirituality. On the way home from the meeting I was reminded of it and saw the emphasis of. Continue reading Salmon And The Land Of New England

Out Of The North

leejohndrowteamWhile walking down by the river I was watching the where the snow and ice had disappeared from the river and the ponds. So much of the ice was gone on the North side of each area.

As I contemplated it I realized that the winter sun came from the south in much of the season. Because of it’s “lowness” on the horizon it only touched the northerly side of each body of water.

It was then the Lord began to speak to me of a move of God out of the north to touch the most southerly states…

Hey! Turn On The Lights!!!

The mystery of the lost Malaysian 370 jet intrigues me. To believe the news and the movies the idea of finding the proverbial “needle in a haystack” is not a mystery. Finding a lost vehicle or person, even an 8 year old spy could do that. Yet here we are, nearly two weeks later and the mystery continues.

Losing something is a heart wrenching experience. The loss of a favorite item causes emotional turmoil. Losing keys or your wallet, and the gears start turn turning. The loss of innocence or peace is huge. And of course the loss of someone is horrible.

Jesus lost something. He lost “that”. Where did He “lose” it? In the garden. The garden of Eden. “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10. He came to restore the “Genesis” of His people. To give them back the life they had PLUS the increased value of a better covenant. James 1:23 tells us “like a person who sees” His natural or GENESIS face.

God has already paid the price for ALL mankind. The option lays before them. BUT unlike the search of the world for the jetliner and the difficulties encountered, God has made the way. He “sought” what was lost. His existence, sacrifice and subsequent resurrection gave it all BACK with MORE. There is a life of freedom and liberty. “That” which was lost has been found, brought back and restored. 2,000 years ago.

While there are still places GPS can not send from and expanses of earth unseen by satellite, God is available and present any time, any where.

I bring this up because lately I have begun to carry a burden for the babies, the children. There is an escalated attack that has caused me to pray and observe.

We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. Not generations, but generation. Each person born in to this is a part of that. In some respects children represent the “seed” given, shaped and molded. The attack has been in light of the absence of fathering and fathers.

I had a vision. I saw the hand of the enemy reaching out to keep back the light of day from illuminating the minds of believers. Attempting to extinguish. And I saw children. EVERYWHERE. Playing together, enjoying the innocence of youth. I saw fear rise up in parents and grandparents to “do something” about the hand that came to darken. But the methodology was wrong. Instead of removing the hand and increasing the light with their voices, they went to “shelter and protect” behind doors. They began to speak fear and negativity. They began to believe their own “press” of darkness. They began to hold up “options” and alternatives. They were settling. And then the vision went away.

I find I spend a lot of time “illuminating” people as to their position, the priesthood, the kingdom. Showing that “that” which had been lost had been found. Keeping them from stepping down a rung. As my daughter, Amy would say “settling”. Settling for second best. (Or worse.) Years ago, I made a decision based on “wise counsel” and it cost me. Cost me huge. I am sure the people could not see the future. I allowed myself to settle. Settling is the result of a poverty mindset. It convinces you that “this is the way” to get it. Whatever “it” may be. It may be a substandard relationship or relationships. It may be avoiding a class and working in a fast food joint. But at the root of it is FEAR. Spooky darkness.

Hebrews 10:23 – “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” When life lets you “down” it is time to speak hope not just “think” it. Speaking it reveals and releases the light, the life. PRAISE HIM!

Loving your child sometimes means “doing the hard stuff”…being a parent. As a prophetic voice who walks with an apostle of grace, I know how much we love people.

It is one thing to recognize the foundation of the apostle and prophet (Eph. 2:20) and yet another to recognize that a firm foundation does not allow for the “leaning” of pieces put upon it. The plumbline is Christ, declaring the exactness of the perpendicular.

There is a HUGE difference in being in a building without a strong foundation versus one that is strong in the foundations outlined by Paul.

I live in New England. I can show you homes that had strong foundations, allowing for plumb walls and straight lines. I can also show you the issues with poor foundations, and the errant beams and posts..

A sure foundation is important to the growth of the Kingdom and the individual.

I can tell you that “all” the sides have to go up before you add another floor or place a ceiling. Growth is important. Proper of biblical growth is God.

I see a lot of children who are just “running outside” before their time. (Parenting issue.) A lot who “think” they are “all growed up” and “can do anything”. (Parenting/Child issue.) and a lot of children who are “grown up” and will not come out to play! (Parenting issue.) Why because it is “dark outside” but I have news for you…it is dark on the inside!

We can not model fear based Christianity (Which really is Christianity at all in most cases.) and letting go of our hope turn to alternatives. To options. Settling.

A price was paid for ALL the world and ALL the “outside”. Do not let “domestic terrorists” rule your mind and your life. Believe for better. Overcome the darkness and the fear.

The winter (darkness) is over and spring has sprung. As I opened the door for my wife I heard the song birds despite the fresh snow. Simply believe.

Maybe, Just Maybe We Are Readying For A Gold Rush

Narrative Of A Revival of Religion 1834

Many years ago I lived in the community of Springfield. It was a fluke that triggered me to find this. The booklet was found and allowed to be copied by the library staff and faithfully transcribed by my wife , Tina.

Motorcycle Meanderings March 19th 2009

I could be wrong, but I am feeling pretty secure in the fact that the weather is much nicer the last few days. The snow is melting out of yards and cellars may be a little damp, but the days are getting longer and I am feeling pretty excited that real motorcycle season is here. Oh, we may get a storm or two, but not enough to deter us. Many have already begun to rake yards and ready for gardens and flowers. I know my wife was out there making room for the plants breaking through. Continue reading Motorcycle Meanderings March 19th 2009

They Are On Their Way

The Skittish Are Coming! The Skittish Are Coming!

As Paul Revere rode on the Midnight Ride to warn people of the coming British, despite popular folklore, he did not say the “The British Are Coming! The British Are Coming!” but in fact actually said, “The regulars are coming!” (Or perhaps the skittish.”) Continue reading The Skittish Are Coming! The Skittish Are Coming!

Well, Well, Well…What Do We Have Here?

wellsPray For The Wells

This morning I was pondering various things having been praying for various situations and friends. As I sat down with a cup of coffee and was reading a note from a friend about a word, I heard “Pray For The Wells.”

Hmmmm….

As I sat and thought, I thought why is He saying it “that way”? Continue reading Well, Well, Well…What Do We Have Here?
