Deception And You It Is Time To Overcome!

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

Too often we move predicated upon our senses and not the leading or the unction of the Holy One dwelling inside.

Simple traps can include:

Our Senses

This morning I thought about how I sense God’s presence. And what I hear others to process through to determine “His presence.”. So much of what we try to accomplish is without our “God filter” or the understanding that comes from a renewed mind.

Years ago as I “pastored” a church fellowship, I heard people say when confronted with a task or situation, “I am waiting until I feel lead.” So true to my “pastoral nature” I brought a large chunk of lead from a rock and mineral store and when they would say something like that I would push it towards them, suggest “they feel lead” and get on with their life. But when people operate by their 5 natural senses, this process is more than just funny, it is actually prophetic in nature. Satisfy the sensory need and the body can follow. For many a year I have taught that “peace was our referee” meaning that there is a peace that God has provided for through The Holy Spirit. I predicate that thought and statement on multiple scriptures throughout the Old and New Testaments.

  • Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]; because he trusteth in thee.
  • Philippians 4:7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
  • Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

That thought has not changed, but it is clear to me that many have forgotten that we must couple that peace in my statement, with the attributes of God which would include grace (1 Corinthians 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God —and righteousness and sanctification and redemption–) and wisdom. Somehow we want to separate the attributes or the parts of God into compartments. (We did it with the “names of Jehovah.”) All of God is seen in the nature of who he is, love. (1 John 4:8 b) Continue reading Peace Is Our Referee Wisdom Calls The Plays
