Atmospheres Are What you Make Them

2014-03-15 11.16.51I awoke today feeling a little “disconnected”. I am not sure the cause but something feels different. Even though, as I have for over 20 plus years, awoke with a song running in the background and people on my heart. That part is the same. But I thought about people who are “missing” out on His goodness because of fear. Continue reading Atmospheres Are What you Make Them

Which Way Do You Lean?

preachingatvillageThis past weekend I had the privilege to speak in our local fellowship, The Village Church. But whether I preached or not, I would not change the fact that I believe people can live better, freer and wiser in their lives just by changing their “dependency”. Their dependency? Yes. Where their dependency is on is where they receive advice, counsel and understanding.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. Continue reading Which Way Do You Lean?

Prophecy Rooms Room 222

Today our church fellowship offers its second “prophecy rooms”. I think it is funny that it is on February 22nd. Prophetic rooms on 222. Room 222.

How many remember Room 222? Guess if you do, you can tell people you are 29 with perhaps 30 years of experience! I liked that show. It was about a school in California. Continue reading Prophecy Rooms Room 222

A Dog With Two Bones- A Tale Of Choice

A Word To Hear
A Word To Hear

In one of my dreams a person had multiple choices before them and the words, “Caesar, Caesar” were being shouted out to them. Upon awakening, I came to the conclusion that the words were really “seize her” pointing out the answer to a choice.

When I was young I was told the story of a dog with two bones. In a nutshell it comes down to choices. The dog could not decide on which bone to choose, so it chooses none and does not eat. Too often in life we have a choice. Continue reading A Dog With Two Bones- A Tale Of Choice

Prophetic Word for The Village Church 2014

2014prophecyThis morning while I was praying I felt the Lord quicken me about a word related to the Village fellowship my wife and I attend. Many want to know what “church” will look like in 2014.

This is what I believe The Village Church will see in the coming days. Continue reading Prophetic Word for The Village Church 2014

The Runway Of God 2014 – 10 Fresh Realities

Lee Johndrow
Lee is on staff with The Village Church in Swanzey New Hampshire. He functions prophetically and often writes from dreams and visions. This is a 2014 thought process from dreams and visions.

I live fairly close to our local airport. I love airports. As a child I would go to East Haven Connecticut’s Tweed New Haven Airport, lie on the roof of my parent’s car and watch them take off and land.

I enjoy going over to the Keene airport here where I live just to watch the planes land and take off. There is something about it that intrigues me. It is one thing to see automotive traffic converge at a 4 way intersection but still another to watch planes as they land or take off from the additional dimension of altitude. A Dream On Stewardship

trumpetRide in a limo? Airplanes?

(This will be a long read! Please bear with me.)

Last night one of my dreams took place in front of our church fellowship, The Village Church. In the dream many people were inside the school wing and there was an opportunity to participate in helping get the new limousine ready to bless folks with.

A little back ground on me and limousines. When we had our church fellowship I was preparing to buy a limousine for the church. Not a new one but a nice one. (It even had a hot tub in the back!) My reason was (Other than it was kind of cool…) that I would chauffeur people for anniversaries and birthday parties in the church. And do special things to celebrate successes. Take elderly people shopping. (My wife tells me it was a better idea than the army tank I was going to buy.) But, “cooler” heads prevailed and I was asked to not do that.

The other little background is the road that leads to our fellowship was recently redone including a new bridge and the leveling of the road. (Proverbs 3:6) I see this as preparation.  (Our church building is not on the main drag.)

Speaking At The Village Church Today

lage Church in Swanzey NH
The Village Church in Swanzey NH

5 years ago my wife and I visited Village with the idea we would “visit.” My wife and I had ministered there regularly years before. Like many places, change had been in the “air.” So, imagine my surprise to find out upon leaving, that my wife and I felt the same way. We were not going back. There was just something up. It did not feel like “home.”

5 miles later and the Lord told me, “oh, you are going back.” Frankly, I was having a hard time with it. 40 plus miles away. An hour of driving. 35 people and the only children were my friend Mark’s. Less than week later, I heard the audible voice of God talking to me about Village, while riding my motorcycle minding my own business. (I wanted to move to Texas!) Two weeks later our home was destroyed. So began a nomadic life. (That stage ends July 28th this year.)

4 years after our first visit, we moved to Keene New Hampshire to put ourselves in proximity to Village.

Today I share with Village what God has been talking to me about. Seems kind of funny. I cannot imagine being somewhere else. It is not what I chose or would have chosen.

Thank you Village for being you. You are awesome.
