The warfare of the enemy.

This morning as I received yet another call for prayer, I thought about what I believe.

I believe that all of the work Jesus did on earth is finished in the sense that He has left us ALL authority. I believe that the devil is defeated and His access to God is removed. I believe that the devil is beneath me and not above me. I believe that I am seated at the right hand of the throne of God in Christ. That there is no end to the love of the Father for me. And that He never stops talking to me!

So, I have given contemplation to some things.Why does he get in my head? Why does he get to stir the atmosphere? If he is defeated what is his power?

He gets in my head because I am made in the image of God. My identity is that of the Father. He hates that and does all he can to mar that. (To quote Isaiah.)

I believe he stirs the atmosphere by taking our thoughts that veer from the goodness of God and connects them to others. He is the price of the air. Ephesians 2:2

His power resides in his ability to take the things about you and get you to believe them. “9 out of 10 people will get the flu.”

The scriptures encourage us to “cast down every imagination that exalts itself…” 2 Corinthians 10:5 We often see in police or war pictures the men trying to capture a feed, whether it be internet , audio or video feed. They will use the words “I have captured their feed.” There are two things to consider here. One is they have access to your information and the ability to put their information inside. The second is that if the “capture” your feed they can have access to what you eat. The word of God(food) is the prevention through the renewing of the mind.

The answer is to break communication with the enemy. Do not listen to lies. Protect your “feed.” Don’t let him interfere with your communication by installing his. Break communication with him!
