This is a longer writing. I wish I knew how to keep things short, but… What I have written is a “recording” of events that are occurring and steps that are necessary in a believer’s life. As much as I hate to admit it, there are indeed fiery trials. Our job is to listen to God, reveal His glory and move in the purpose He has established for us. Simple? Some are shaking their heads “no”. The biggest thing to keep in mind as you read this, is the body of Christ is important to our purpose.

Key thought? Stay plugged in!

The follow is from a book I am working on.

The history of the Christian church presents a diversified scene. Light and shade, prosperity and adversity, joy and sorrow, revivals, defections and apostacies, follow each other in quick succession. In the apostolic age, a season of “refreshing from the presence of the Lord” was frequently followed by a terrible persecution; sometimes by alarming instances of apostacy; and generally by declensions more or less gradual. What is true of the great community of Christians; is so, in some degree, of individual churches. Unusual prosperity in a church seems to me now like “a handwriting upon the wall,” or a signal held out from heaven, “prepare for trials.” It is therefore with fear and trembling, that I proceed to give some account of the recent dealings of God with the church and people under my pastoral care.

The above passage came from a book that I am working on, quoting a man in 1834. In a nutshell the word is tested. I have been giving a lot of thought to situations that are occurring. There is a tremendous move of grace occurring and such an uprising of the enemy at the same time. I am convinced that much of what we are encountering is the “stirring” up of things by well meaning people.

But there is an outpouring coming. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Habukkuk 2:14

There has been a lot on my heart his week. Earlier this week, I had a time of great “concern” upon seeing a vision appear. (It reminded me of a vision I had in June of last year.)

Twice I went to write about it and both times it evaporated when I went to post it.

This is what happened…

I was not sure what the trigger was, but I was sure of where it was. As I watched I saw lawlessness. Then I saw a fire of destruction. I saw the city slowly begin to burn and soon it was on fire.

As I watched what had lead up to it I saw a increased dishonoring of those in authority (Not in the church but in the local government.) and I saw an increase of destruction and attack on children. A lot.

Last night I went to bed late thinking about what I had seen. It was still in my heart. It was confirmed this morning by a flurry of emails, articles and other communications.  All crying out for help. Now when I realized that one of them does not even like me, well, I knew it was the real deal. (The confirmation does not bring me “justification” but an awareness of the pain. We are one in the spirit. I used to sing that song{see it at the bottom!}, perhaps it is time again…)

It is clear what I saw had ramifications. I am asking you to pray for these folks. (I think one of the issues is about being planted in the seedbed of community and grace. I am not sure people get that all the time.)

There are unusual things happening lately. Lots of them.

Let me share a series of dreams that have been happening.

1. In one dream I came to the back side of what I was sure had my dad’s old home. But it was taller. I was brought inside. A man who owned the home was very influential, but he did not pay me a lot of attention. He was kind enough. But then something was brought to his attention by the man I was visiting with. He said to the owner, “Have you read Lee’s book, Center Of The Point”? And with that the man began to read the book.

Key word-Influence
There is an influence that has been given to us and position to influence from.

2. In this dream, I was asked to pick up two vehicles both in Connecticut and for different people. As I went to leave I realized I did not have the paperwork to validate the cars for the people. I called a friend but he was busy and now I was in for a sleepless non-productive night. Somehow things had been missed.

Key word-Communication
Our communications will be more important than ever going forward.

3 In the next dream, I was brought into a meeting. There was a lot going on but the meeting was dragging. People were just not “getting it”. And then a young woman who was a Kung Fu expert came up to me after the meeting. She was concerned that people were not prepared for what was getting ready to happen.

Key words-Preparation & Leverage
We are quickly being prepared for the journey. We will use leverage to change and move things into place.

4 The dream quickly shifted to an outdoor scene. There was a large garden. In the middle of the garden there was a pond full of large eels. It was a large square pond. There were these unusual fish that were called Baki. (I found out later this was an anime grappler!) There was a decision being made to fish those fish out, because they overtaking everything.

Key word-Abundance
The result is abundance.

Those dreams are all connected-Influence, Communication, Preparation & Leverage and Abundance.

We have influence through the Lord Jesus. Our communications are necessary to connect the body and bring unity. There will be those who will bring about preparations in the body. The preparations will give us leverage that never before had been seen in such magnitude. Because of those things working together, the net result is abundance in the midst of the works of the enemy.

As I look back to the quote from the minister experiencing revival in 1834, I think “of course the word is tested”. (Psalm 105:19) I think it has to be to bring about growth. Funny how in gardening we talk about a “hardening off” of plant taking it from the inside to the outside to get them ready to endure sunlight, temperature and dryer air. (Some have called it boot camp for plants.) It is a testing of the hardiness of a plant. On the other side we speak of proofing dough, where during rest, the dough goes through increased fermentation. One in a taking your values out to the world and the other gaining size and validity through rest. Interesting…

We are in an interesting season. If you truly see or allow yourself to hear, the ability to get from A-Z becomes easier. Those dreams were talking about the B-Y steps a lot. He is there for us.

The city I saw come under siege, even under lawlessness, has the same Lord, but as I mentioned in the beginning there are many who have “stirred” things. It is time to stop stirring and the time to come into His rest.

You have Christ in glory, not a transient glory that shone in Moses’ face, in connection with law and the Old covenant, the system of demand, but the abiding glory connected with grace and the New covenant, God’s grand system of supply.

All of the issues we are faced with are not just some demonic gesture, but often the inability of one to begin to settle into His rest.

I said in the beginning that we are to stay plugged in. To what? To the body! How? Through God!I read this again and again yesterday and today… Today, let God reign in your hearts. Colossians 3:15 says, “Also, let Christ’s peace control you. God has called you into this peace by bringing you into one body. Be thankful.”

His peace is the operative word. It is the vehicle of passage. Instead of taking a ride on the wild side, consider peace! Shalom!
