Yesterday I made a note to others that I thought this was the time where God was going to change people who we had prayed for, been in contact with, etc.. He was making them aware of His love. They were “coming in!” Little did I know that one of my “encounters” would be a woman whom I have never met, but knew of her through her spouse who had worked with me.

Last night a message to me indicated a conversation with her daughter that had left her troubled over the issue of heaven. Her daughter did not want to go. The little girl is 5 and I would ask that you would pray for her. We went back and forth. It was hard for me, because I do not type fast, do not know her, but just kept relying on God and saw her crying. Moments later.Thanks Lee …. Sitting here teary eyed …. Thanks for taking time you didn’t have to chat with me ….God bless you and all those you hold dear.

Why is the whole world groaning waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God? Because the world is sick, oppressed by the devil and in pre-Christian mode, unable to find its way. The Sons of God bring the realities of the Kingdom of Heaven to this fallen world, setting free and saving as they leave a wake of liberty, joy and peace because God lives inside them, Jesus lives inside them, the Holy Spirit lives inside them and unites their spirits with the Lord’s. We have power and authority over every demon and to cure all manner of disease. You are a son of God. Believe it. Live it. Take the glory back to Jesus.

The other night I was watching a video where the prophet spoke of a season in his life where people had lined up with all the offenses he had caused. Not because of error, but because of judgment, condemnation and pain inflicted. I cringed. That had been me. Anyone who knew me knew I saw all and in my belief to get people better, I thought if we correct the sin, life will be fine. What error on my part! People feared me.

And at that point I thought I was doing my part. But folks, when we devote ourselves to pointing out the goodness of God and His love for them, reaching for what is in their heart, life changes. Too often we are developing fear that God is going to kill them.

“If you do not get saved you are going to die and go to hell.” (We make hell a nightmare, and I am not suggesting it is not, just what is our focus or our goal?) And then they get saved and we say “God never changes.” “So does that mean God is still mad with me?”

I find the following thoughts make my life easier.

That it is God who is really big and really loving and wants nothing but to spend time with you. He has paved the way for you and Him to hang out! He is not angry or mad or anything but “like wow! There you are!” That there are good things that God has put in people’s lives because they are God’s workmanship. He does not make junk. Oh, people might junk it up from time to time, but He is in love with His work. His work is you! The Lord says in the Song of Songs, “You have conquered Me with one glance of your eyes!” You are more than a conqueror! For you have conquered the Conquered! He is looking for you!

I do not know about you but I appreciate the relationships I have. I do not like to fight with people over things. So feeling like you have to make someone uncomfortable in order to get them to be saved, well on some level that is what the Pharisees did. Burdens, weights, pain. So, it is uncomfortable to talk to someone saying “yeah, hell is on your ticket.” For starters you are already at sword’s points and in opposition. And then people start running from you.

Look I know the scriptures that talk about a day of judgment. A person at odds with the Creator. I get it. This unseen woman needs comfort. Your family needs comfort.  People need comfort.

A big scary God makes it hard to accept. (Why wouldn’t people choose “affordable healthcare” when we in the church have made it harder to get saved, harder to get healed than the time takes to vote?) God heals through His people. People get saved when they understand how much God wants to do for them and through them.

I struggle with the idea that someone “poisoned” the well of a five year old child. I struggle with those who turn away from God because someone gave them a “poison apple” of religion.

I said earlier your family and friends are in pre-Christian mode. Are you going to miss the opportunity because life with Jesus is too simple? Are you going to deny a person, the grace of God that you have received, by setting rules in place and stories that are not the character or nature of Jesus Christ? The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news! What are you and I bringing to the table?

We are about to see grace embraced in “unprecedented” numbers. The flailing of those trying to uphold religion and get “their message” across is the last vestiges of a misunderstanding people. As their numbers decrease in “remnant” thought process, the grace of God is going to sweep this land. The only thing perhaps “left behind” is an old covenant mindset.

In the words of an old telephone commercial. Reach out and touch somebody!

Let freedom ring. The bell of His goodness is tolling. It is announcing the end of an era of legislation brought upon by well-meaning people. But it is no more. The payment was exacted. It is for them the bell tolls.

Life is about to get awesomer!
