Last night one of my dreams put me in a place of contention with a friend over the world, economics and the topic of bankruptcy versus redemption. He was telling me that in the process of his loss he had been able to develop a process of redemption rather than bankruptcy allowing him and his wife to move ahead.

Now, as I awoke I thought about it. First, the reality of it. (Could not validate his point.) Then on to his points.

He had listed the reasons following as reasons for redemption: age, AFA and economic times.

I thought how interesting. He is seeing the things that need prayer. He is calling his reasons for bypassing, redemption to avoid a legal issue, but he is also pointing to the things I would pray for.

God in His redemptive power removes us from the power of the law and into a a new places. Circumstances may or may not change but certainly are subject to prayer and the ways of the kingdom. It is time to establish the regeneration of youth, put God’s healthcare plan into action and operate in the economies of the King.

In the dream my friend understands the principle of the kingdom and the principles of grace. He struggles with the application and understanding of the kingdom. This does not mean he is not in the kingdom, it simply means enough of the kingdom is not in him! And when it comes to grace, the recognition of the gift and the person it represents, he like so many others revert to the law or a legal understanding of the grace bestowed.

TWO VISIONS

The Lord showed me a vision this morning of a woman huddled up on the inside of her cottage. Clearly as one looked at the aisles between the hoarded materials and such, one could see the lack of trust. The problem was as I wandered about her small home, made smaller by the clutter was the absence of trust. I moved the newspaper from the window (She wanted no one to look in and see what treasures she had.) Outside was a tremendous bounty of vegetables and fruit in the fields near by, a small pile of coins said, “take some”.  And there was light.

A second vision showed me a man in a small apartment, in a wheelchair, not moving except to get a small amount of food from time to time and a visit to the bathroom. Outside his home were sick and ailing people, many who were in wheelchairs and on crutches, going to a free clinic and within moments their illnesses and infirmities were healed and they came out skipping and dancing.

In the 60’s we often sang that the answer is blowin’ in the wind. But here we are and the answer is often right outside out window or door.

My friend only saw the immediate benefits of the redemption he had received. But he was missing out on the long term benefits. For him in the dream it simply became a talking point and not a life reality. Too many simply seek healing (good) when divine health (better) is on the table.

Deuteronomy 8:3-5 …”He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD. “Your clothing did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. “Thus you are to know in your heart that the LORD your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.…

WOW! Even discipline does not take away all the benefits. (Honestly my wife would and has thrown out my 40 year old clothes for style, not because they were worn out.) Imagine never having to buy clothes or shoes, because you are His. We have a BETTER covenant!

There is a time coming when we will see the realities of the first covenant and all their benefits are as real and as for now as ours are and ought to be for today!

Raise the dead, heal the sick, do miracles! All is there in the redemptive power of the Lord and Christ.

I think my grandson Jacob’s favorite story is about Jesus raising the dead and gone Lazarus. When he hears of death, he is like “let’s go get them” or “can we get them up”. He believe the length of death is not a factor after hearing of Lazarus or the saints wandering around Jerusalem at the time of the resurrection. I “struggle” with the idea he may soon be visiting cemeteries and bring home “friends”!

Today is your day! Live it like it is yours in heaven. What is so far out of the box and yet appeared in the Bible that you can believe for? Move mountains today!

God, I speak over this great people the words of change, that the mundane would be simply mundane and there would be a greater grasp of the miraculous received and responded to with signs and wonders in their midst. Today that we lay hands upon the sick and see them recover, declare life over the dead and see them rise. That today financial miracles would abound and bankruptcy just a place for the miraculous to appear. I release freedom and the understanding of it to the captives and healing to the sick, ailing, lame and infirm. Mental illnesses overturned , even genetic issues resolved. I declare the work of the enemy, Satan and his minions overturned by the power and the presence of you and your people.

Today, let redemption appear!
