Cast Off Your Cares!

2015-09-05 12.52.11Like so many, today I have a choice. To choose bad or to choose good. To choose good or to choose God. I dreamed and began this a few days ago. Choice? Everyone has one.

Today is the 12th of September. For folks in this country it signified change in the follow up to the destruction of the Twin Towers of New York and the Pentagon. It also signified the day where people picked up and began the arduous process of rebuilding shattered lives and the willingness to overcome the pains of the hour.

Yesterday was bad but today we are going to be better. Do better. And move on.

Some did. Others did not.

I had a powerful dream on September 12th 2015.

I was celebrating family in a penthouse suite. All of my children and grandchildren were there. It was amazing. Beautiful. Peaceful. Serene.

My family and I owned this large building in the city. High atop the building was our home. Beneath us there were 46 floors of offices and living space. Living space, shops and offices. 2 large elevators came up through the middle of the building and outside elevator glittered in the sunlight. Glass, brass and lighting. It was all there.

The ceilings were very high. 20-30 feet high. Lots of chandeliers, mirrors, paintings and light. The windows were large and opened up over the city. I was not sure that it was New York but it definitely reminded me of New York. Rivers and the ocean in the backgrounds. Sky.

The mood was very light hearted in this place. People sat on couches or stood there with drinks or food in hand. Conversations all around. Children played in different areas of the large living area.

When I awoke I wondered. Was this about 9/11? Or was it more?

God has appointed us to be the head and not the tail. That means we need to operate with the wisdom of the head. Jesus.

I sense that many will arrive at the top in the coming days. There will be those who pass through a 9/11 and wake up to lead. To overcome and to change the world.

But to lead is a responsibility. It requires change. It requires thinking.

Whether the dream is about 9/11 or about the situations of life bringing is to the top, I think it is time we take a deep breath and relax for a moment. I mean relax! Not just do something that leaves you more jaded, disappointed or discouraged when you are don.

I am purposefully being a bit mysterious here with the dream. I sense God is desirous that you would have His thinking today. For you.

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed” (Proverbs 16:3 Amplified Bible).

Let it go! Release it to God!

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you;

He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

There is an action to be done. Cast it. Throw it. Rid yourself of the weight.
