No sooner had I completed my blog entry for today than I found myself hearing and seeing words.
I feel like we are in a season of revival, of awakening and words that encourage and change us are important. I see, as do others, far reaching change of our nation.
With that in mind I share these three words.Word 1
The first word I felt the Lord was speaking to me this morning is related to Joseph. Joseph as most people know was thrown in a pit by his brothers not too long after sharing a dream indicating his greatness. From there he went to the prison, after being blamed for wrong doing by Potiphar’s wife. Finally, from there he went to the palace where he served Pharoah and became great.
He was thrown in the pit by people (his brothers) who were jealous of him. He was recognized by people in the prison who used his gifts to get ahead. And finally he was moved over to the palace which is where he was put in charge, as second in the country, only to Pharaoh. It is in the “palace” that people not only recognize you but bless you.
God moves us from the miry pit to a place where often we imprison ourselves but His eyes are set on us seeing the palace.
Many people have things occur and get caught up in the place where they feel like their life is falling apart until they see themselves not in a in a pit or a prison but a palace. (You may give up a coat or two getting there, but that is your destiny!) The reality of it is God has made a way for you, even in your “prison” for you to speak to butlers and bakers. These are your divine connections to reach the next step of your destiny just as the Midianites were the next step or level of destiny for Joseph to be removed from the pit and to arrive at the prison. It was here that he would meet the butler and the baker.
Your destiny is fulfilled in the palace but you have to see that your experiences in the pit and in the prison are important to your next step. Do not deny small beginnings or seek to circumvent process or people to get to places of influence.
Word 2
I heard the words, “geographically challenged.” I felt that many are geographically challenged in this hour.
Many people who might even look at this word or are wondering, “is this what I am supposed to do or consider? Is this where I am supposed to go?” I submit to you, that if you feel that or if you are even asking that question then the answer most likely is, yes this is for you.
To be geographically challenged means that you have not allowed yourself to be moved to the place God is trying to move you to or you have let circumstances dictate where you are placed in the kingdom of God. I want to say this right now, that many of you who have been looking for a way out need to look for the way from within and that the way out is the words that you speak over your life and those words are what change things. If you feel that the Lord is moving you and this is the season you will need to get others to be in agreement with you for the move. To get them behind you, in the leaving of that apartment or the sale of your property. Even now I feel that the Lord is saying to you today that you are to purpose yourself to move, even as I mentioned the previous word about Joseph. This may have become a prison existence for you, until you’re into that place.
There is a sent and a set that the Lord desires over you for you will not be able to fulfill the destiny that the Lord has put there for you until that time.
Word 3
I feel the need to say this today. Even as my granddaughter had to go to the hospital this morning, because there was a concern about the shape of her head and the ability for her brain to grow properly in it. (She is fine-no further tests! AMEN!) I felt that the Lord was saying “this is the season when you cannot accept things like this. This is the season where you must stand up and say ‘no more, no more.’”
The Scriptures tell us that “there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”. (Romans 8:1) That means you! The Bible also tells us that “there is no weapon formed against us that will prosper and every tongue that rises up against us we will condemn.” There are way too many people who are going to doctors and waiting for “good” report or accepting a “bad” report. Or they may be going to their auto mechanic, getting a “good” report or receiving a “bad” report about their vehicle. It is in these moments that we as believers need to say “no more, no more, no more.”
There is no tree of “good or evil” remaining in the New Testament. There is only one tree and that is the tree of life that is found in the Book of Revelation. The very tree that caused Adam and Eve to fall and be forced out of the garden no longer exists in the New Testament. The tree of good and evil is not part of our life and when we go to the doctor or to the auto mechanic or to anything that requires a checkup of any kind we need to understand that we are no longer looking for a good report or a bad report but we are looking for a life report.
When my granddaughter went to the doctor to have her head checked I had already made the decision that there was nothing wrong. That her head was the proper size for her brain because it was God and God Himself who created her and made her to be.
Too often we are finding ourselves subject to what a “professional” or an “expert” says. The reality of it is, in my own life, even when the doctor told last year that they believed I had “cancer” and the technician said that “the very reason you’re here is because you have cancer” in both cases I said “No. I do not accept that.”
That does not mean that I did not agree to having the test and go through with it. It is not lack of faith but it is actually faith in enforcing what I know to be true. Because I need to overcome the report of “evil” that someone would try to put on me and I need to establish His goodness in the midst of the face of that evil that would try to come on me.
I recognize when you have a young child, you may walk into the doctor’s office and the doctor may tell you what you need to do with that child. And even if that doctor were to tell you that there was some devastating illness or something wrong with your child, your proper response as a believer, is to immediately condemn that tongue, especially that tongue of evil that would bring about things in your life. You can say it gently. You do not have to be upset and you do not have to fear. You do not have to be afraid but it is upon you to say “no, that’s not truth.”
Now I do recognize that the government or the doctors in all those things may require you to in fact have your child checked out. I am fine with that because it will prove that your faith is manifest and it will prove to them that the very thing that they tried to call down upon your child does not exist. Please keep in mind that the scripture clearly says “there is no weapon formed against you that will prosper, but every tongue that rises up against YOU will condemn!” (CAPS MINE!)
So I hope one of those helps you. Even as I spoke them out this morning they helped me!
