9 Months Later Part 1

2014-05-16 18.40.529 Months Later

Every one knows that it takes approximately 9 months form the point of conception to the place of birth in a human being. Through out scripture we see many people “birthed”. The word birth is often used in kingdom conversations to describe the announcing of a new move or action coming forth. (The meeting birthed a movement that spread across the nations!)

And so I often go back to see what the fruit is of words I gave in the past and today I want to talk about a word the Lord gave me at the end of the year 2013. I was given this word on the last day of December 2013. I called the word “The Runway Of God 2014 – 10 Fresh Realities”. I also shared this word in my home fellowship, The Village Church.

I want to review this word 9 months later. Why? Because I think it is important. The vision had to do with flying, runaways and airplanes. I think it is important to see what a word has resulted in. So, I am going to go down the line with each area.

The hangar (A representation of the place of preparation.)-Many who thought they were called to fly this year have found themselves called to the ground or in the hangar in preparation of what God is doing. Many thought this is “unfair” but it is God’s measure at safety and preparation in your life. Perhaps you predicated your “time to fly” on a word or even your own immaturity. And now it has not happened. I ask you to realize that the darkness of the hangar does not mean that God has walked away from you. In fact He has called you to intimacy and time alone. Enjoy this time with Him. (Psalm 18:11 He shrouded himself in darkness, veiling his approach with dark rain clouds.)

Open doors (The first views of what next steps look like.)- For some of you, you have been in “darkness” so long that the very light coming through the door is blinding. Your blinking, your hand covered eyes. You are not even sure you want to go outside because light has been so difficult to find. You have become accustomed to darkness so long you are not sure what you want to do. Because while the actual darkness kept you hidden it also keeps you in connection with Him. For some of you the very idea of seeing light has not been on your radar screen. Many have even thought life would “always be this way” (darkness) but in fact, you are perhaps even surprised by the change. (Acts 22:6 “As I was on the road, approaching Damascus about noon, a very bright light from heaven suddenly shone down around me.”)

Cleared for takeoff (The opportunity for last minute checks and observations.)- You have hoped against hope, prayed for all you are worth. You may have even stopped praying, but in a split moment, you have received the communication (Tickets, promotions, monies and more.)that it is time for everything you have wanted.

So those are the first few words. I will be sharing more going forward.
