From time to time I have needed healing in my body, just as others have. I had to trust God for my healing. You may be in that place yourself. God wants you healed and made whole. (1 Chronicles 16:34; 1 John 4:16).
When we are sick it is always God’s heart to heal and restore health and life to you.
Jesus paid the full price for your healing, health and wholeness so you could experience His abundant life. Today, there is no symptom in your body that is too insignificant for Him to care about, and no condition that is greater than what His finished work has accomplished. As I gazed into the “looking glass” I saw two people this morning. One was an older man who was frustrated as his paradigm shifted. A paradigm shift is when you know you can not go back to the way you once thought.

My wife and I were headed out to be at my mother’s side. She had pancreatic cancer and we were driving out there to say our good byes. We had loaded up the car and were headed out across Connecticut and into New York. I remarked to my wife, “what a beautiful day. Surprised we can not see any planes as close as we are to the city.” Little did I know a rest area would have folks gathered around the TV as the towers fell. My wife came out to tell me. I turned on the radio and we heard story after story. As we got close to Buffalo, traffic was backing up for miles and gas prices were soaring. This morning as I received yet another call for prayer, I thought about what I believe.
I believe that all of the work Jesus did on earth is finished in the sense that He has left us ALL authority. I believe that the devil is defeated and His access to God is removed. I believe that the devil is beneath me and not above me. I believe that I am seated at the right hand of the throne of God in Christ. That there is no end to the love of the Father for me. And that He never stops talking to me!
This morning I was praying for various people including my family. As I prayed the Lord provided me with pictures of people, their situations and their “salvation.” Meaning He had made provision for a way out for you. (1 Corinthians 10:13) I saw my children, my family and my friends making life too hard. They made rules to make it easier to accept failure as they perceived failure.
To paraphrase a prophetic voice (Bob Jones), “there is no difference between taking a nap or raising the dead. The pay is the same for those in the will of God.” Which brings us to this scripture in the book of Hebrews 10:10. For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time. Provision has been made. There are no rules other than the life of liberty and life. While in worship this morning I had a vision appear to me. It was a long vision. It started early and took minutes.
In the vision the Lord revealed to me a series of gears. The gears were grinding because of sand in them. (Imagine taking an egg beater out to your child’s sand box. And sit there “beating sand.”) I asked the Lord to talk to me about it.
I got my grandkids all pumped up about it. As we drove from Keene New Hampshire I talked the history of revolution and freedom. About the men who had traipsed from places like Fort At #4 across the miles to Crown Point or Fort Ticonderoga. I talked about Indians and settlers. (I love history and geography!) I showed them sites and thought process.
We drove past Roger’s Rock (Where a man set himself against the French and the Indians in the battle for our freedoms.) and down to the Hague. From there I showed them where Tina and I have often stayed at Silver Bay. The last stretch brought us through Bolton Landing and into the village. A lot of my friends need a Plan B. Members of my family could use a Plan B. Few people adhere to plan A with the ferocity of a Tim Tebow, who regardless of what has been offered is planning on living out his plan A of being a quarterback in the NFL. But I would bet you that Tim Tebow in fact, has a plan B building in his life. I would imagine he has a form or stream of income that is being created. A career after football, perhaps.
Last night I participated in an ordination for friends of mine. It was fun and I enjoyed being there. Today I am headed to Lake George. (I am so excited! Taking my grandkids.) On the way home I was having a conversation with the children about today. I was “distracted” in the conversation. I missed a speed limit sign. Moments later not one, but two police vehicles turned around with blue lights flashing.
