I had something pretty much already for this morning’s post on mentoring. Then I went to bed and the dreams kept coming and coming. So, let me share them with you and the connection I have found.

The first dream took me to this place that seemed rural yet populated. There was a man who was singing “If I had a hammer, I’d hammer out danger. I ‘d hammer out injustice…” Now at 3 in the morning I thought that was pretty weird,I will take a note and go back to sleep. (I did.) The dream came back. Someone had given him a hammer.And he was hitting a large steel girder placed in the ground. With each swing of the hammer, the resounding noise would cause the things about to “straighten”, to come into line. The longer he hit the more the “earth” developed harmony and order.

I think it interesting as this past week I prayed for two people for their bodies to come back into line. And they did with astounding results. There is an alignment of heaven, God is establishing through our prayers and the laying on of hands.

In the second dream I ran into a man named Jonathan. He was very old. I met him walking through a foreign land. The more he talked, the more I realized he was truly Jonathan, the son of Saul. I spoke to him at length and upon coming to the reality of who he was, he simply smiled with a twinkle in his eye and left me for yet another person to speak to.

The third dream I was working in the back of a store. While I was in there getting the store ready to open I heard voices out front. The people were picking up things and getting ready to steal them. I shouted and they dropped everything and ran out to the red van parked out front. There were many of them. They were very much like a band of gypsies. (Perhaps the hardest part of the dream was when I realized this was a “store” I had walked away from a in another dream a few weeks ago.)

The fourth dream took place in an old storefront I once had. A young lady came up to the door and asked me about a crystal that was in the window. It was a piece of irradiated smoky quartz I had purchased from Russia. As I held it out to her to see, I thought “counterfeit”, that something was about to happen. I awoke feeling a warning.

The fifth dream brought me back to my early days of intrigue and wonder for creation. In the natural, I had found this 125 pound piece of amethyst. I had hiked it out. In the dream someone saw it in my place of business and wanted to purchase it. I could not sell it.

Dream six took me to a large “underground city”. It was not so much a city, but an underground culture that lived in catacombs and subway tunnels and basements far beneath the city above. I knew I was to be there, to walk there. As I walked about people shielded their eyes from me. I was not wearing anything special or bright. I found that many of the children would hide but not run. They would whisper amongst themselves. After a few hours I sat down and found many were right there behind me. At first they looked as if the might run, but then they came closer. I did not understand the language, but I understood the atmosphere and the thinking. Soon, many were gathered around me, with smiles slowly breaking out.

When I awoke, I have to admit I was frustrated. First I had something else planned. “My thinking, my agenda.” Ever been there? Second, it was a sleepless night to say the least. Even with the A/C on in the bedroom, I awoke a couple of times from dreams sweating. (When I ran out to see the van and the people, that “frightened” me.)

But here I am, looking at the other article and knowing this is the one here for today.

I believe the first dream set the tone for what happened the rest of the night. The man bringing the “world into alignment” is truly the “sound of the ground” in this hour. What is it you can “straighten out”? Is it relationships, stepping outside your comfort zone, changing your approach to life? We all have something, I am sure. There is a harmony of heaven that is being introduced into the earth. The fact that it comes from “inside” the earth tells me it once was here. Hence the “groaning” of the earth or creation for the rising up of the mature sons of God.

My meeting with Jonathan indicated the coming forth of true brotherly love in this time, in this hour. “They will know we are Christians by our love.” Not just words of love, but actions. Actions pointing the way to the Father.

The third dream messed with me. It brought me back to something I had left. (In the last dream I had sold everything and moved.)The Lord told me there was “unfinished” business in my life and the lives of others. It will be challenged. It is easy to let go go of something when it is painful. But with the knowledge that God is “in it” the requirements change. There is a joy with the knowledge of “doing all things as unto the Lord”. And honestly, the “break in” and seeing those people outside told me challenges lie ahead. There are things to overcome.

The fourth dream, I knew the lady who wanted the piece of quartz. It concerned me when I thought about it. The words “playing with fire” came forward. There is a counterfeit that unsuspecting believers are getting caught up with. This is a season requiring strong discernment. There are many things that look like the real deal, but in fact are deceptive.I had added the piece of quartz to my collection. The young woman was looking to “solve” an issue when the issue was “internal” and needed the wisdom and insight of the Lord to be sought.

The fifth dream indicated that there is a people who are trying to bypass the process of the Lord in their lives. I sought out God in creation. (Yesterday I got to explain to Jacob about creation as he took apart a dead marigold revealing its black and white seeds. I love to explain God through creation.)This person just wanted something to “indicate” their connection. (Like wearing a cross or carrying a Bible with no relationship.)

The sixth dream had taken me to the underbelly of the city, to the heart of the matters. Two things were happening as I carried Jesus into the darkness. Lives were being changed and the “sound of the ground” was being reshaped.

Throughout all these dreams there are things that are happening, both pro and con. Here is my list.

• We are being asked to resolve past issues.
• To overcome fears.
• To walk in love.
• To be wise and discerning.
• To help others.
• To seek out truth.

But at the heart of it all there is a very large truth. We are being called to bring heaven into the earth. To see His kingdom come and His will be done. It is a tall order. “Doable” is the word I hear. But it is not just a “surface” issue. No, it goes deep the root of things. There is an “alignment” coming to the earth. It truly is “sounds of the ground”. It is not just music or worship but alignment with Him. It is healing and wholeness, but it is bigger. It is the restoration of all things.

Honestly, I do not “get it all” but I get many of the pieces. The whole time I have been writing this there has been an angel in the corner of my living room. And while I have not see the angel move, I “know” that is has moved thousands of times, maybe millions in the short time of writing. Where did it go? What did it do? Why?

People want to hear there is “something amazing happening”. To see the impossible become possible. I think God wants that too. It is time to walk in the revelation we have. Not “contemplating cosmic cauliflower” but doing what we know to be truth.
