Get That Boat Into The Water!

dreamstealersI had a dream last night that caused me to wake up and seek the realities of some of the things I saw. As I am writing, I hearing the word “settle”. It can mean to resolve or reach an agreement about (an argument or problem). It can mean to end (a legal dispute) by mutual agreement or to determine; decide on. To pay (a debt or account). To complete the administration and distribution of a decedent’s estate or give money or property to (someone) through a deed of settlement or a will. To accept or agree to (something that one considers to be less than satisfactory). It can mean to make one’s permanent home somewhere. And it can mean to make comfortable.

Any one of those can be a big deal.  The end of arguments, with wills and estates distributed. But the one that most unnerves me is acceptance of things that will cause one to stop the growth, give up and “call it a day. My daughter Amy always told me she would never “settle” and I am kind of glad. (A great husband and a new baby on the way.)

lone rangerThere is a temptation to look around and read the news and say who cares. I have seen more dreams and thought process put on the trash heap (*Lodebar) in 2013 than I care to think of.

One of the greatest issues is the idea that your destiny can exist without others. That you can be a lone ranger. You will need divine connections and appointments. So, save your destiny and purpose from the trash heap. Don’t get comfortable with the enemy of your soul. Break free from traditional thinking.

By the way, ministry, gifts and government are all important but if you do not enjoy your life I question your understanding of God and your level of joy!

cowboyLast night I posted this on my ministry page: “Just was sent an article about prophets being “spiritual cowboys”. Bummed me out. Went looking for my horse.” I love to prophesy and I love to see. I subject my gifts to the body and to God.”

Yesterday I was blessed to be able to prophesy over a couple who had not had a word since another meeting I was in in 2001 or so. God is wanting to re-freshen His people. To cause the milk of the word to come forth. 13 years without a fresh word. These folks have “leader” all over them but because of some bad things they began to settle. No more! Folks-it is time. There is a fresh word from God out there for you.

Do not settle for a Stockholm Syndrome mentality. This is where hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.

Stop seeing sickness and disease as “deserved” or loss as “justified.” Stop declaring “my illness” or “my family always had this issue” statements. You have a new Daddy and there is a new “sheriff” in town. Don’t be comforted with drama and deception. Get others to join you and stage an uprising, a prison break against your captors!

Okay-last night’s dreams.

Dream one-So vivid that this morning I am seeking the check and the envelope. I “know” it happened. The envelope contained a check for $925. (Ironically 925 is also the number for the silver content in sterling silver, .925 or 92.5%. (If you do not look, how will you know? Never be afraid of believing God and appearing foolish.)

Dream two-This dream again was about money. Large quantities of bills all packaged and wrapped in plastic wrap. The scenario was there was a large marina. I was in a storage warehouse. There were lots of boats in various states of repair. Many of the repairs were the result of a gang of thieves who were “snookering” or talking people out of their possessions. They would convince them of the need of repairs that were unnecessary. Many of these owners were new, having received the vessels from inheritances or winnings. In the back of one of the large fishing vessels I found much cash wrapped up. The people who owned the boat were unaware of the inherent value.

I felt I was part of trade, giving over my life and being forced to negotiate with the boat takers to set people free. The dream ended as the guns were pointed at me. I awoke, out of breath and in pain from the beating I received before I ran.

Here are my thoughts and thinking.

  • Envelope-while the dream in fact may be personal, I think it it underscores the need to believe. To take a risk even if one might appear foolish.
  • 925-One of the ironies of this number other than the check or sterling silver number is it is a fairly new area code in California. Created March 14th, 1998 by the addition of two others. There may be some spiritual understanding there as well, as I am noticing a lot of “area code” insight lately.
  • Money-Needless to say I think this is relevant as to expectation. Large quantities, wrapped indicate me that this was not only not known recently, but is “new” to people.
  • Boats-I believe the boats were representative of people who believed. The represented inheritances and life. The boats were designed to sail, to leave the harbor, but the enemy had used tactics of manipulation and deception to convince people of their “loss of value”. Despite the great treasures that were found in some of these boats, people were swindled into believing the lies of the enemy. Just as a boat realizes it’s full value and potential when on the water, so is a believer when they plug into God’s purpose.
  • The guns and beating-I believe (And this is not just because I am prophetic.) that there is an attack on the prophetic voice and the equipping aspect. (I believe “all” positions, graces and functions have been under attack to some level, but currently I think the prophetic is engaged because we are in a battle of “words” and that is our main function.)

My friend Mark posted this today.

Hebrews 13:17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.

Looking back on my earlier days in the church. I made life really hard for some leaders, I had a head full of knowledge and no experience. I too often in those days sought to be heard without seeking to understand. However, many of those I disagreed with in both praxis and theology I am closer too than before! God has placed leaders in your life for protection, teaching and Equipping don’t allow extremes in the Church to rob you of this blessing!

I had shared with him yesterday I detected an anarchy against the kingdom and structure of God’s government.

The enemy is determined to cause you to walk without your true identity as a son of God. Manipulation and deception are on the rise, but when the enemy raises His head, God is reminding us of whose we are and where we are seated. He is working overtime to convince you of “unnecessary” repairs and loss of value.

dreamstealersToday, I call for the voice of the Lord to rise up from within you and enforce the authority given unto you. Do NOT let the enemy be a dream stealer!

Get that boat in the water!

*Lo-Debar (Lodebar) was a real place during the reign of King Saul and then of King David. Mephibosheth, the son of Prince Jonathan, and grandson of King Saul was five years old when his father and grandfather fell in the Battle of Mount Gilboa. The child’s nurse hearing of this calamity fled with the boy from Gibeah, the royal residence, and stumbled. Because she dropped the child on the ground, Mephibosheth was permanently paralyzed from the waist down. He was carried to the land of Gilead, where he and the nurse found a refuge in the house of Machir at Lo-Debar (Lodebar).

Lodebar was a dismal place of no pasture, no hope – total desolation.

You ended up in Lodebar when you were crushed by the storms of life and believed that life was over for you.
