Last night in one of my dreams I ended up here.

I was in a car full of friends and we were driving through what appeared to be the Adirondacks. There were 6 of us in the car. We pulled off the main road and we headed down the dirt road to where we were going. The smell of the pine trees in the air, I could hear the water on the shore of the lake. We pulled up to a small house. As we got out of the car, I realized we had gone from street clothes to suits.We were out of the car and I saw the sign on a large building. It said “Pregnancy Center”. I said to my friends “let’s head over there”. They looked at me. We began to walk over there. As we got closer I saw lots of people, both men and women. (In my world a pregnancy center is where women who are pregnant show up to determine next steps, etc..) I thought how unusual. As we came closer the people pulled back from the door. We walked up the stairs and through the door. It was a very bright and beautiful room. I saw someone sitting in a chair. I went over and laid my hand upon their head. I could “feel” light leaving me. I went to another and the same thing happened. I told my friends to join me. As we wandered around “life” began to occur. Men and women became “pregnant”. They ran outside and told others. Lines began to form in front of us. We would lay hands on them and lives would change. People became pregnant with life and hope.

I looked out the door and the line was amazing. I could not see the end.

I awoke…5:55. I pondered for a few minutes and came downstairs. Pushed the button on the coffee machine and sat down. It was 6AM. The next thing I know it was 6:36 and people were knocking at the door.

It is now 8. I have had to ponder where did I go for 36 minutes. (6×6) What about 6:36? Despite ADHD (Apostolically Designed, Heavenly Directed) I am VERY focused when I get up. I am creative. Focused. Not so this morning.

So here we go…

I believe that we were going to celebrate the “death of death”. For me the Adirondacks is my place of creativity and connection. I hit the New York border and I am in my world. Life and thought flash for me. 6 of us in a black car, exiting in “somber” suits. We went for death. (Honestly, I felt like the mob!) We went to the small house (I believe this represents our thinking sometimes.) Seeing the pregnancy center brought “hope” to me. The smell of pine always brings hope, memories and the sense of new and fresh to me. Are we not “cedars of Lebanon” or the cedars of the Lord? Did not Paul say in 2 Corinthians 2:15-17 For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? For we are not like many, peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God. The waves represent to me the never stopping moving of God. And light in the pregnancy center.

As we passed the sign I knew something was happening. When I saw both men and women I was unsure. But after the “finish” I knew what it meant. We were creating life with impartation and words. We were setting people free to be free and hope to a future. What some saw as death, we saw as life.

Our true life only begins when we have recognized the death of Christ and our death with Him. (Galatians 2:20) It is only after death that we have life and life eternal. People are receiving the Good News and telling others. Life is changing, changing, changing.

The 6 of us. 6 is the normal number of pallbearers, the carriers of death to a burial. 6 is the number of man. Like the cherubim over the ark there are 3 on each side. Jesus was “man” and died and was carried away. In the next day (7) came the rest. We 6 represented man but through His death we brought hope, life and expectancy to be pregnant. (And of course I think it cool that there are 66 books in the Bible.)

In Luke 6:36 it says this…Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

555 grace is all around!

Today, despite the jumpy start, God is moving on your behalf as well as mine. The understanding of His death and the His life and all that we have is coming to you afresh. Hope and life are springing up. Wells of goodness are being revealed to you today. The thing you have worried about just took a back burner as the importance of life and His goodness are right before you. Today is a day of change. (Some of you will write me and say “I found change on the ground, next to my car on the floor.”) It is that close!
