Sound barriers are made to be broken.

For the last couple of days I have been contemplating sound barriers. It began when I went to give a prophetic word to a friend of mine. I heard the Lord say something about sound barriers when I heard a loud noise. At first I thought it was “Thunder snow” but then I realized it was it was a breaking of the sound barrier in the spirit.I believe the Lord is saying today that it is time to break up our sound barriers. I am talking about those “barriers of sound” that make lots of noise and restrain us from getting somewhere.  Just because we cannot “see them” does not mean they are not there or do not exist.

I also feel that the Lord is also saying that we have created sound barriers in our mind in the belief that they will protect us. But that which protects us also keeps us inside.

It reminds me of the story of Rapunzel. She was kept confined in a tower, but even in the confinement, the enchantress and then the prince were able to make a way up through her hair thrown over the edge. (Hair often signifies the glory and the glory cannot be contained.)

Sound barriers are a source of containment. They hold you back. Words that are spoken words that are received; all of those things have the ability to restrain you and keep you from your destiny.

I also sense that there is a barrier in the sound because we have come under the spirit of man rather than the Spirit of God and we have kept quiet when we ought to have been open our mouths and saying the things of light and truth. The Bible says in Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. YOU WILL CONDEMN. Not allow it to sit in your atmosphere, but stop it, right then. You and your answer will break the sound barrier in that moment!

For the kingdom to increase “sound barriers” will have to be broken. To the person breaking the sound barrier, the noise is not heard. But to the observers it will occur after the action. Many will see the results of the action, not today, but tomorrow or the next day, week or year. Do not get discouraged!

Revelations 1:12 says “I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,” There is a voice that will be seen! In the flesh. Jesus already “came in the flesh” but now His body is here, IN THE FLESH! The product of creation!

Today let your voice break the barriers of sound to overcome the cacophony of nay sayers, “doom and gloomers” and pessimists. (I want to be an opti-mystic!) To set the captives free by going where others have not gone. To release a “sound of the ground” that cannot be denied. To see the glory! To break the “sound barriers” of tradition and philosophy and see that which was not seen become seen.
