A Dog With Two Bones- A Tale Of Choice

A Word To Hear
A Word To Hear

In one of my dreams a person had multiple choices before them and the words, “Caesar, Caesar” were being shouted out to them. Upon awakening, I came to the conclusion that the words were really “seize her” pointing out the answer to a choice.

When I was young I was told the story of a dog with two bones. In a nutshell it comes down to choices. The dog could not decide on which bone to choose, so it chooses none and does not eat. Too often in life we have a choice. Continue reading A Dog With Two Bones- A Tale Of Choice

Big Brother Is Watching You!

conspiracyHa! You thought I was going to talk about the 200 million emails a day the NSA has been watching. No, what I want to talk about is even more insidious, darker and more sinister. Mindsets!

A few weeks ago I prophesied romance is in the air. That this is the year for many who have sat, waiting. Thinking life has passed them by and God forgot their number. I have recently prophesied increase for some, respite for others, restoration of family and more. These are all what most of would say are good things to speak, to desire to see occur in people’s lives. Yet some were disturbed and let me know. Continue reading Big Brother Is Watching You!

Beware Of How You Treat Others

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

Prior to my encounter with Christ some 20 years ago in a grocery store, my life was to say the least, pretty chaotic. Part of that lifestyle left me with a trail of broken relationships. Even skipping some of the wrongful parts of my life, I always seemed like I was moving on to a new relationship. Even coming into Christianity I was still unraveling many of the characteristics that caused me to “lose” relationships.

But I soon learned the value of retaining relationships. In part because Christ was “doing a work” in my life and godly men and women were participating in my growth. I am thankful for the participation of these folks. Continue reading Beware Of How You Treat Others

Pride Raises Your Head High

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

The Lord is taking me into a new season for whatever the reason. Over the weekend He began to speak to me about various things that He was calling traps of the enemy. This morning I wrote about one of the greatest traps being the deception that leads one away from rest.

The Lord has given me a study to consider out of the book of Nehemiah that I will be breaking out soon, but along the way He has had me revisit various things from my childhood. One of those things is the fables of Aesop and Hans Christian Anderson. Continue reading Pride Raises Your Head High

The Enemy Has Come To Steal Rest

Ghost Battleship – U.S.S. Texas (You may want to read up on this…)

The enemy is working overtime to get you to step out of the rest Jesus provided for you. He is out to provide you with the best set of rules known to man but set aside by God Himself. No longer to drag you into the works mentality that Jesus provided a way out from.

VISION
Yesterday during service two objects appeared to me.  The first was a hand grenade. For two days I had been hearing the word encampment. I saw barricades and blockades and then as I saw the grenade dropped it was nuclear in it’s force. Continue reading The Enemy Has Come To Steal Rest

Beware The Trap Set Before You

713px-Fox_and_crowThe Fox and the Crow

A crow, having found a piece of cheese, flew to the top of a tree where she hoped to enjoy her meal. A fox caught sight of her and thought “If I plan this right, I shall have cheese for supper.” “Good day, Mistress Crow,” he said in his most politest tone. “How well you are looking today! How glossy your feathers are and how bright your eyes. Your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your beauty does. Let me hear but one song from you.” The crow, being flattered by these words, lifted up her head and began to caw her best. The moment she opened her mouth the cheese fell to the ground only to be snapped up by the fox. As the fox walked away with the cheese, he offered this piece of advice to the crow. “The next time someone praises your beauty, be sure to hold your tongue.”

This morning while in the shower praying for various people, the Lord reminded me of the Aesop fable I heard as a child. I was then reminded of the wisdom found in this simple fable. Continue reading Beware The Trap Set Before You
