The Favor Of The Lord

2013-07-31 12.17.20I felt this simple impression this morning.

The Lord is raising up a company of believers who are changing things with their words and their actions.

I saw this scripture.

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:46–47 (The bold is mine.)Too often we think we receive favor by doing something. It does not show they did something to “have favor.” They just did. Favor is something given not got-ten. J We are not here to “curry favor” with words or deeds. We have favor.

This company will change things because it is not seeking to do, but being in relationship with the one with favor in His hands. Our job is to “proclaim the year of the favor of our God.” Isaiah 61

Yesterday I was able to declare favor in a grocery store and see countenance change.

Be one with Him and forget the silly doctrines of striving and trying.
