Yesterday morning while getting ready for service, I could feel the words “The Spirit of Restoration” being pressed into my thinking. During worship it got stronger and stronger. I shared with my friend that I really believed I was seeing something.
I released it with my words during the rest of service just mouthing the words and getting a feel of what God was saying. Not a public thing but a personal thing. Frankly I was not sure how to see it through. So, I left it in the air during the day.Before the Bible police come after me, let me say you will not find a “spirit of restoration” in the scriptures. But I do find that Jeremiah prophesies in chapter 33. (I do know He is talking about Christ, but I feel this shows the power of restoration.
10 “This is what the Lord says: ‘You say about this place, “It is a desolate waste, without people or animals.” Yet in the towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem that are deserted, inhabited by neither people nor animals, there will be heard once more 11 the sounds of joy and gladness, the voices of bride and bridegroom, and the voices of those who bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord, saying,
“Give thanks to the Lord Almighty,
for the Lord is good;
his love endures forever.”
For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before,’ says the Lord.
Last night I shared what I was seeing. Families restored, marriages restored. Wholeness and health. I began to get a picture of fields healed and orchards with fruit and not just a prophetic picture, but a reality. The Lord reminded me of the video series Transformations.
I have seen more marriages restored in the last two years in the message of grace than in my preceding 20 years! More families healed. The power of grace!
What is it you need restored? God is desirous to restore it!
The spirit of God is hovering, looking for opportunities to bless and bestow favor. We are a landing strip for the goodness of God in belief of Him.
