The man stood at the front of the second floor church assembly. I noticed that the wall had been removed to make more room. I was putting additional chairs in the room, making more room for people. There was a part of me that was feeling an undercurrent of something was “wrong” but honestly I was finding myself too busy taking care of getting people seated and everything squared away. Finally the last chair was in place. People were coming in and I sat to the side.

I noticed that people were looking at me as if I did not belong. Or that my being there was inconvenient. Perhaps they thought I was just there to help. (I was on some level.)But clearly something was wrong. As I listened through the man’s welcoming statements, my eyes took in the room. The removal of the wall was bothering me. The viewing screen gone, the words were projected on a wooden wall that did not allow for viewing properly. Room changes always fascinate me. This one was causing me to have a pinging radar in my mind.

He began to share his message. I noticed that people were beginning to settle in. And then I saw it. The first physical changes. As his voice drone he began to become larger. His message was picking up the sound of an incantation. People began to turn “ugly” and I could feel the tempers rising.

I stood up and men began to approach me. People began to turn towards me, snarling and growling. I was praying under my breath, but I knew my life was on the line. I began to release the word of God over the people. The man speaking began to diminish in physical size. People fell to the floor.

I awoke.

There is a lot to be seen in this dream. But here is the one thing that I think is important. To know His word. His word will not allow for deception to stand. It is a light unto your feet we are told in the scripture. You will not stumble.

Know His word. His word is your entry to life. Knowing His word is hearing from Him.

• The devil will deceive.
• Your experience will deceive.
• Human reasoning will deceive.
• Fear will deceive.

His word will eradicate deception.

Too many have moved from His word to a “new level” only to find that they have missed out on the fullness of His word. The richness of His goodness revealed through His word.

Find Him and His leading through His word. Ask Him to illuminate the scriptures for you. He will never deny you.

Part of what we are seeing in grace is a hunger for His word and a return to the book. It is amazing! HIs word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your life.
