2 Images to Ponder Table Size & Tokens

A Word To Hear
A Word To Hear

Last night while I was in service during worship I saw two images. The first was a diamond. The second a token.

The first image was initially the “table in the desert” in Psalm 23. Th table that was prepared for me amongst my enemies. Over the years the Lord has spoken to me that He would use us as a table, a place of communion or community that he would place among enemies. Last night as I watched the table it began to shimmer before my eyes and became a very beautiful fiery diamond.

There are many things to consider in a diamond, but when people seek a diamond one of the most important is the table. (We talk about clarity, cut and carat, but these are side notes.) The table is what provides the basis of the fire in a diamond.

So as I just watched this diamond sparkling the Lord spoke to me that we about to see the fire be increased over our communion with Him and one another.

The second image I saw during the worship was a token. They type of token that is purchased at an arcade and put in a coin slot rather than using real coins. The Lord said I am changing the system and moving from the token.

I might easily disregard either of these, but a short while later, my friend Randall Worley began to preach and while he addressed identity and adoption in the church he talked about the diamond and the token.

The diamond he spoke of being the stars in the sky. The token, he said as he prayed in closing, “God we do not want a token. We want it all.”

As things happen faster and faster, I never doubt what God can provide. Earlier in August, the Lord provided a 12 year old boy with a diamond he found. Michael Detlaff found a 5.65 carat diamond in a mine in Arkansas. He named it “God’s Great Blessing.”

(Randall also touched heavily on things in his message that I talked about in my three dreams yesterday.)
