Full Days Ahead – Just Watch and See

sandalsTaste and see that the Lord is good. (Psalm 34:8) It continues on to tell us it is in refuge in Him that we have opportunity to see this. In Matthew 5:6 it tells us that “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst…” We are fast approaching the “seeing” of God in many ways. My friend Randall shared last night a testimony that was amazing, of the appearance of God to a former Muslim cleric. This is not the first time I heard a story of this type.

The kingdom of God is at hand. (Matthew 3:2) The “wow’s” of God right before our eyes. As Elisha prayed, Gehazi’s eyes were opened. (2 Kings 6:17)Last night I was in service and a little girl took of her sandals. I thought, “hmmm, this is holy ground.” But she did not stop there. She headed towards my wife and removed her shoes. She put them on and began to walk. I began to get a flash of our purpose.

I thought. She does perceive Holy Ground. She wants others to see it. (We are the holy ground…) She wanted to move up or mature. She left empty shoes. I thought we are called to equip. And then I thought who fills her empty shoes.

We are in the middle of a monumental shift. Many are feeling it. There is a move of the restoration of hope and dreams.

How big can you dream? Think? Believe? Two days ago while in a midday meeting, I saw the following picture.

Seed was being dropped into the crevices of a large rock or cliff. As it was watered, it began to create pressure against the rock. Huge pieces of rock were pushed away. There was an exposure of new rock and…minerals and gems. The Lord showed me our giving and our actions of service and faith are expanding the kingdom, moving large pieces of “rock” as the kingdom expands.  (Many years ago I lived in Townshend Vermont and one night a large rock, bigger than truck, was forced from the high rock wall, falling into Route 30.) These seeds of goodness, watered by our words are increasing the kingdom, bringing forth treasure. (So many wonder about provision, but when Irene swept through the Northeast, it caused much gold to be exposed in rocks and streams.)

Every penny has the opportunity to shift things. Every declaration or decree the same. Our actions of goodness could be towards the next Paul the apostle. Never deny small beginnings. Zechariah 4:10
