A Fresh Word From The Ovens Of Heaven

breadWhat a dream!

The people were running. There was no food to eat. And yet, there was a knowing by many that something supernatural was about to happen. There was a tension in the air. The smell of victory was closing in. People were being encouraged to stand strong. (For some friends it could be a football game this weekend!)And then the answer began to be seen. As the people’s voices were raised the landscape changed, the postures straightened and joy rang out across the battlefields.

I am not sure about you but I am a sucker for the underdog. More than likely that is an American thing on some levels, but I am pretty sure it is a Jesus thing as well. It was at the cross that God equalized things for many. Some of the greatest successes in history came from people who just “took a stand.”

In my dream there was a hunger and no satisfaction. But there was sense of something “about to happen.”

The people gathered. The food was ladled out and their stomachs filled. There was so much food that there were leftovers. They began to carry it to their enemies. The enemy was astonished.

Years ago a good friend of mine said “God has never closed the ovens of heaven. There is always fresh manna.”

I don’t know how many people are like me but I value and highly esteem a “fresh Word” …a new Word from heaven. (God still speaks) and there is something refreshing to the soul – when fresh manna arrives from above. Only a few weeks ago a new friend sent me a word. It rocked me.

This weekend our church fellowship opens our prophecy rooms. People will make an appointment, be brought into a casual setting, be seated and three people will share with them what the Lord is showing them. Nearly every single time slot was booked double and some triple! People need and want a fresh word! (Pray for us, please!)

This morning I saw a married woman with children whose husband is not saved. She has contemplated leaving. She is discouraged. (This is a time to pray for her and not judge her!) And yet I heard the Lord say “your time is near.” I felt His presence enter your situation and give much encouragement to you and to your children.

He is the God of now, the Lord of today! He is bringing a fresh (Breathed on anew!) revitalizing, rejuvenating, invigorating word into lives today!  Man doesn’t live by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceeds forth from the MOUTH of God. Saith the son of God.

I felt the Lord say many have received words, added them to their collection and sought another. But I would say to you today, begin to steward the words He has given you. Would you buy fresh bread and put it in your closet? Of course not, so do not take the fresh bread of heaven and put it in a spiritual closet. Satisfy your hunger today with food of the Lord. “God, I need a fresh word. I agree with that.” Do not be so super-spiritual that you starve your being.

He is revealing Himself to those who will see. Sharing His heart with those who will listen.

This morning I saw folks “birthing” something and yet they were becoming discouraged. I saw a pair of forceps appear. I thought, “really?!?!?” And as I visibly said the word “forceps” it came out “force up.” There is a force up or upwards. What does that mean? I saw three answers immediately appear.

  • First-A birth is always a downward force, if you will and there has been an upward force to deny its coming. (The enemy.)
  • Secondly, I heard that there is an “upward force” or a directional call that needs to be recognized in your life. An upward call. Some have been fighting this. (It’s like having a baby and not being a parent-it does not happen!)
  • Thirdly-there has been a personal rejection of the purpose of God in your life and you do not want the call being established. There is only one answer for that…repent and believe God.

It’s one thing to have a baby, another to birth and finally to deliver. This is your “baby” and the Lord is with you. One of the greatest struggles some of you are having with that word is it does not line up with what you doctrinally believe. You may not “believe” in healing but God is calling you to heal. You may not “believe” in women in ministry, but God is calling you as women to do so. You may not “believe” in prophecy but God has shown you many things and you thought it was witchcraft.

This is your manna, your fresh bread, your revelation. Let your enemies be scattered as they feed from the abundance God has placed on you and His church.

God loves to serve fresh bread from the ovens of heaven. Those ovens are within. I love the smell of fresh bread as it provides comfort and a sense of relationship.

A short thought on gluten.

I have a lot of friends who are on gluten free diets. I understand the reasoning and the whys. (This is not a challenge to them or to anyone battling with it.) Personally, I am more convinced it is something being done chemically to the grain more than a natural or untouched grain. With that said, let me share a little meditation on gluten, bread and the body of Christ.

First, God talks a lot about bread. It is symbolic of His body. To be “gluten” free things would be missing in His body.

Gluten (from Latin gluten, “glue”) is a protein composite found in foods processed from wheat and related grain species, including barley and rye. Gluten gives elasticity to dough, helping it rise and keep its shape and often gives the final product a chewy texture.

Gluten is the composite of a gliadin and a glutenin, which is conjoined with starch in the endosperm of various grass-related grains. The prolamin and glutelin from wheat (gliadin, which is alcohol-soluble, and glutenin, which is only soluble in dilute acids or alkalis) constitute about 80% of the protein contained in wheat fruit. Being insoluble in water, they can be purified by washing away the associated starch. Worldwide, gluten is a source of protein, both in foods prepared directly from sources containing it, and as an additive to foods otherwise low in protein.

The fruit of most flowering plants have endosperms with stored protein to nourish embryoni plants during germination. True gluten, with gliadin and glutenin, is limited to certain members of the grass family. The stored proteins of maize and rice are sometimes called glutens, but their proteins differ from true gluten.

Gluten sensitivity is classified an “intolerance”, not an “allergy”.

Buddhist monks discovered gluten in the 7th century. The monks, who were vegetarian, were trying to find a substitute for meat. They discovered that when they submerged dough in water, the starch washed off and all that was left was a meat-like, textured, gummy mass – gluten.

I think it is interesting that something that is a protein, is being found toxic (All the more reason my conspiracy meter goes off.) from nature. “Take this bread which is my body…”
