I have been away for a few days in West Virginia, enjoying the company of friends. It was an amazing time. Spending time away is always difficult away from family. It is made easier by the fact that I encountered some simply awesome people. My list is partial in the sense I will not remember all that I met. But I am thankful to the ministry of folks like Lynn Hiles, Roger Legg, Bob Smith, Dan Keistler and oh, so many more. Southern hospitality, superb teaching and fellowship. It just warms my heart.While I was away so many things ran through my mind. And I will be catching up with those over the next few days. Last night I was working with a prophetic class we are running in our local fellowship, The Village Church. On the way home I began to feel the immensity of what is happening. I have been feeling that October is “our month.” I have been prophesying it over our house at Village. Now the one thing I know about prophecy is it is not “exclusive.” Meaning it is not just for our house perhaps. But I do address this to our house specifically. And feel free to evaluate, examine and partake in it. For we are the body of Christ, joint heirs in Him, co-laborers with one another and Him.

By observation-We have begun to see a trickle of people coming who have never come to our fellowship before. Whether through friends, Facebook or the inspiration of the Lord, they are appearing. I am also seeing folks who are returning after periods or seasons of absence. I have seen a summer of many maturing and stepping into place. We are in a season of God “doing something.”

What I see-We are in the middle of a supernatural birthing. The “baby” is coming. Soon! Over the next few days you may experience a “pressure.” It is a pressure that has the potential to form you or eject you. Some may wilt under that pressure. They are still our friends, still our brothers and sisters. In staying with this analogy for a moment, we are seeing the crowning of this child into Village.

Timely-The birth of this season is not premature nor late. It is truly for “such a time as this.” Encourage one another. Spur one another on to His goodness. The message of grace in its marriage to power is being unleashed in the earth.

Babies-We are about to see many babies, both spiritual and natural appear on the scene. It is springtime in the month of October. (Yes-I love babies!)

Maturity-we are seeing a rapid increase in maturity as folks catch the “vision” of how God is doing things. Agreement with heaven is the key in this season.

Unusual growth-Our growth will not reflect or mimic previous patterns of growth, either in intensity, dimension or shape. We are going to see some “oddities” never before encountered in this season. We will be the giants in the land!

Discernment-Increased levels of discernment will be one of the watchwords of the hour.

Persecution-As much as I “hate” this word I sense a season of testing, if you will that will challenge many.

Gather-Our gathering on Sunday is important, but more importantly, our gatherings throughout the week will be another key. Grow with one another.

Reach out-People you and I have never touched are about to be touched in this season. Walls and divisions with families and friends mended. I see evangelism of the lost, as nets are thrown into the sea of humanity.

Health-As we have declared a disease/cancer free zone, this is the hour. Tremendous healings are in store. The laying on of hands will be important.

Yieldedness-A posture of flexibility to Him is another key.

Prayer-Our prayers are shaking the region, our words defining our culture. Prayers of favor and blessing are on our tongues.

Favor-We are moving into an incredible season of the favor poured out.

Provision-Where the sense of “none” was…there IS! Even last night as I saw baskets of bread and cruets of oil, be watchful and ready.

Divine Connections-This is a season of relationships and connections of purpose.

Change of season-You will find many things are getting new grace and other things will fall to the wayside.

Ability-A sense of “I can do” is being poured out as the expression of Christ through us is released. What was held up is being unstopped, undammed and forcefully opened.

The other day I saw three visions-but one was most interesting-a U Bolt to connect pipes. Moments later my friend went for a walk. When he returned he tossed a U Bolt or coupling on my bed in the room that he had found on the road. God is connecting YOU in this hour. You will find peace in the seedbed of grace and community. This is an hour not of “you and I” but His purpose being served through us in the connections.

For such a time as this.

I notice there is a lot of “jumping” the gun lately. The term stems from jumping off the line before the starter’s gun. The result is that even if you are first across you don’t win, because it is not “legal.” Jumping the gun is caused by self ambition, fear of loss and not hearing the voice of the Lord. (“The starter’s gun”) Be in the race and stay in the race.

“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.”

You and I are not only in the land of the living but we are the land of the living. This is our season. To quote the Goonies!

“Down here, it’s our time. It’s our time down here.”
