Last night I had several dreams, but 2 stood out to me. The others were good, but they did not have the interesting aspects that these 2 had. Add in that I felt they were connected and had a value to bring change to my life and those around me.
In my first dream, I went to a store that I do not frequent. A huge grocery store. Walking in, I noticed that many were not wearing masks. One person had a mask on, and I felt bewildered as I looked about. I watched how people were doing things. There seemed to be a carnival atmosphere. The one with the mask was upset, angry.
On Wednesday of this week, I had a dream about division. Removing people from the fold. Pulling them out of the game
People will be asking “where are they?”
The spirit of division.
If I have learned one thing about Christ, it is every time I draw a line to keep people “out” I look over to see Christ on the other side of the line with the very people I wanted to “keep out”. And to quote Erin Reagan, maybe the reason for the line being drawn in the sand is so you can erase it!
There are many people that are angry at others and they have made decisions according to their anger.
Each day social media is filled with rants and raves. The airwaves overwhelmed with statements of who is right and who is not.
This week, the Pope, talking on Lent, said in partially improvised remarks, “is a time to give up useless words, gossip, rumours, tittle-tattle and speak to God on a first name basis,” he said.
“We live in an atmosphere polluted by too much verbal violence, too many offensive and harmful words, which are amplified by the internet,” he said. “Today, people insult each other as if they were saying ‘Good Day.'”
It’s about people. Where they are headed. That people think they are leaving “church” when really, they are unplugging from fellowship. Thinking that is the answer.
You and me. We are the church. How can we leave? Oh, we can leave fellowship. But how do you take communion, declaring we are one… and then walk away?Continue reading Have We Missed It?→
I have always been a dreamer, often finding it difficult to separate the dream from the reality. Let me be real when I say, that dreams may well be a reality in another dimension, that ignite in our minds of this one.
If that causes you to check out so be it. But as you read thrugh the dreams of the Old Testament, where God came upon someone rather than being on the inside, if he were to reach you in a dream, it was from His realm and not yours. I get that He can reach you wherever He wants, but keep in mind you and I deal from a New Covenant reality. We do not understand what it was like then. We can “imagine” but that’s the end of the line for us. Continue reading A Series Of Dreams Indicating Change→
I have a couple of friends. They do not use Facebook. !?!?!) I have to work hard to stay in touch with them. (It works because I put them in my calendar, to touch base with.)
I say it a lot. We are more connected than ever and more disconnected than ever.
God knits our hearts. Sometimes what we go through is the “lack of connection”. I often think of the scripture, “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” It is indicated this is a choice or the opportunity to make a choice. But, what if it is greater than that?
If the very essence of God inside of us (And about us!) has us hardwired for community, maybe it’s possible that part of the wiring is that we are designed for connection. That when there is a “surge” (A rejoicing.) maybe we feel it. And when there is a “short” of sorts (A mourning.) maybe we feel that, too.
A lot of people go through a hard time at any given time. Maybe we “feel” that or are connected to that by the Spirit of God. Maybe that opens our hearts to one another, and our mouths to pray for one another.
With 59 “one another” verses in the Bible, perhaps it is a little more than the “manual” some make the Bible out to be. Maybe it is the design itself…
A friend recently lost a family member. I could write “praying” on their Facebook, but what about those without the Facebook connection?
Thinking of my friends today. Reaching out to them.
I grew up in a generation of turmoil. But our turmoil seemed to have a respect factor, even in disagreement. I was a child of the 60’s and if you see some of my shirts you know that hasn’t changed all that much!
I was thinking about a friends recent Facebook post with regard to the elections and how he wondered if the person who will be elected is perhaps not even in the running yet.
I thought a little bit about that and I think many years ago that might have been true that there would have been somebody who could have come out of nowhere and change things and I’m not saying it can’t happen but I wonder if these things work against it. Continue reading A Dark Horse?→
A lot of folks initiate numerous changes when it comes to a New Year. I get it. You have a line in the sand that is drawn by time. You choose to make that a place of reference. Continue reading For the New Year→
Yesterday had been a rough day on some fronts and as I was just falling off to sleep, I was awakened.
“Declare, declare, declare.”
What?
“Declare!”
My attention was being caught and my sleep was eradicated. A download of heaven was happening.
I grabbed my phone and began to research.

Origin
Middle English: from Latin declarare, from de- ‘thoroughly’ + clarare ‘make clear’ (from clarus ‘clear’).
I heard before I even grabbed my phone. “Add light. Clarify, make clear.” Not just clear, BUT thoroughly clear.
I have always believed that what you say is important. After last night I believe it more than ever. Is it possible declarations of the negative kind are making the atmosphere negative? That positive ones add light and life?
I know I will have more on this but I would be interested in how this might affect you.
