I Will Rejoice And Be Glad

It came and it healed me
It came and refreshed me
It came and washed my sins away!
So I will rejoice, I will rejoice, and be glad.
I will rejoice, I will rejoice, and be glad.

In my dream this song was being sung over and over by the worship team where I was. The lines as far as I could see. (Full lyrics at bottom of page.)

Recently I have been underwhelmed by the quality of the health care people are receiving, if they are receiving at the hands, of the the new health care law. And I have been overwhelmed with the number of requests that appear for prayer and healing.

I have prayed for teams of people who would go to hospitals, care facilities and such and simply believe, pray and heal. “Special ops” teams that are people full of faith. Moving about, bringing healing and moving to the next person. I have shared this with friends. I see people bringing the encounter of God to the sick, ailing and diseased.

Last night I had an encounter. My wife went upstairs to be with our son Jacob and I came down stairs. The room filled with the presence of angels. (At first I did not “see” them but then the room felt “close”.) I began to look about. At first I thought “wow” and then it began to get intense. “Where will you send them? What are the messages they carry? For whom do they carry?” So…I began sending them to friends, family and country. They were bringing “light” and “scrolls” and “answers and questions”. Yes, questions…For some of you reading, decisions will be made.

Psalm 104:4 He makes the winds His messengers, Flaming fire His ministers.

Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels He says, “WHO MAKES HIS ANGELS WINDS, AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE.”

A dispensing of help had appeared.

In the dream what had started as a meeting with focus, began to shift. At first I thought we would keep along the same vein. How wrong I was. Soon I could not move. Everyone had “caught it” but me I think. I was trying to share and the people filled the space about the podium so I could hardly move. (It gave new meaning to “pressed in”.) And whatever they had seen that had drawn them was not yet explainable to me. The presence of God became overwhelming though in a moment. I heard doors opening and children coming in. The front door opened and people began to walk down the aisles past the “remnant” of a seated congregation. I heard tears, laughter, and quiet voices. Finally I just stopped…

A worship team member had somehow retrieved his guitar and began to sing “I Will Rejoice”. Slowly the momentum of added voices came. I just sat on the edge of the stage.

I awoke.

Today our fellowship is excited to “install” three amazing men of God as deacons in our church family. Not to fix or repair buildings, but to carry the presence of God and serve the “the table of the Lord” to those in need. Men full of faith. Friends. In our home fellowship things are moving quickly. Increase is here. We see healing regularly and more often than even a few short months ago.

But my dream is not just about “our house” or another, but about the need for healing hands and faith filled hearts. My heart goes out for the damaged children, the addicts and the diseased people.

I sensed upon waking from the dream that life as we know it is about to take a strong jump upwards. It is time to manifest the realities of “heaven here on earth.” For all of us!

I Will Rejoice
Lyrics

William Murphy

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of our God.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of our God.
So I will rejoice,I will rejoice, and be glad.
My depressed days are over, I will, I made up my mind, I will, I’m gonna be glad.

There is a fountain full of grace that flows from Emmanuel’s veins.
There is a fountain so full of grace that flows from my Savior’s veins.
It came and it healed me
It came and refreshed me
It came and washed my sins away!

Chorus

So I will rejoice, I will rejoice, and be glad.
I will rejoice, I will rejoice, and be glad.

Repeat Chorus(2 times)

There is a fountain full of grace that flows from Emmanuel’s veins.
Has anybody been cleansed in the fountain, that flows from Emmanuel’s veins.
See I know for myself cause it came, and it healed me, it came and refreshed my soul,it

came and washed my sins away

Chorus

Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say

Back to the chorus
