Things That Make Us Great

"Use me!"
“Use me!”

The other night I got together with a dear friend. The main thinking of the night was going to be business oriented. And while we were getting together on it, I said something and he excitedly said “write that down”. I did. Here it is.

The things that made us great can connect us. Continue reading Things That Make Us Great

Correcting Our Course

leejohndrowteamLast night I had a number of dreams about education, teaching or going to hear a teacher. Perhaps these dreams are occurring because I have bemoaned the fact that children seem to be being taught less, if taught at all. That  young people are not receiving the necessary understanding to step into life or they have not decided it is valuable enough to implement skills predicated on what they are being taught. Hopelessness seems to be at an all time high, particularly in schools. Continue reading Correcting Our Course

Releasing The Creative Force

MarcelI sat there with the young boy. I was explaining the simplicity of genetics. What would happen if a mother had red hair and the father black hair for instance. We combed over this for a while. His eyes lit up as he saw the wonder of creation. How hair color, or facial looks can be passed on. (I remember this from 7th grade.)

We then moved on to history. Not just the history of history books but my history and that of family passed on to me. Continue reading Releasing The Creative Force

Before You Change The Channel…Think…

Life-has-no-remote-Get-up-and-change-it-yourselfWhile skimming Facebook over the weekend, I saw this post. “Life has no remote. Get up and change it yourself.” I agree.

When I was a child, I was my Daddy’s remote. From the comfort of his recliner he would ask me to change the channel. The good news was there was only 3 channels! (I always think it is kind of funny when someone loses a car or TV remote that they do not realize there are buttons or keys for that…) Continue reading Before You Change The Channel…Think…

The Authority And Power Inside

leejohndrowteamIn my dream last night I was teaching in a school. The students were probably high school age, but the unusual part was each day new students would appear and one from the day before would remain. The fast changing atmosphere was interesting in the meeting of the people. The process of just sharing the same information for a month or so was different and not much of a challenge. At the end of the month I would have a class of “left overs” and the real process of what I was to teach was on. Living in the Kingdom while being in the world and integrating the life of the Kingdom to change the world. Continue reading The Authority And Power Inside

A Move Of God Is A Move Of Love

Two dream settings

One was a school room for a get together of friends from a church I was involved in. In the dream people were invited to the gathering with the concept that our “agenda” was to love people. The difficulty came as we sat at tables to talk. After a while people began to walk out. They wanted teaching!

People went outside and finally returned after being upset that there was no “agenda”. Even in the re-announcement of what the purpose was people were disappointed that not more revelation was going to be given. (Funny they went outside to be “friends” with one another.)

The second dream was like a very large school. Huge areas, lots of students. But while I was walking around I sensed this shift.  A very clear division had begun to arise. What was supposed to be two sides of playing together began to turn very ugly. As I headed towards the stairs a young man with a rifle appeared and began to cut off my entrance to the open stairway. He came right at me and ran into me pushing me to the side. Others began to fight. Continue reading A Move Of God Is A Move Of Love

Education In America Is Needed

Tgrade 12he election opened my eyes to many things. One of those was education.

A couple of recent videos I did have put me on the “firing” line so to speak. I am pretty used to it on some levels, but I was amazed at the response from people I do not know. I was taken back by a Catholic who thought in one sentence it was the job of the government to educate and at the same time for me to pick up the slack. Continue reading Education In America Is Needed
