One of the hardest things about being a believer is watching people, friends and family go through difficult times. Particularly those that are within their grasp to control. Too often the choices that one makes determine the quality of the answer.
What about choices? As one of my dear friends Roger stated at a funeral not too long ago in his own inimitable way. “Get a job. Be a good person. Do not be a bum. Do not marry a bum. Do not let your kids be bums.” Over the years he has said similar things like, “if you do drugs the handwriting is on the wall.” Now both he and I believe God can help restore and bring those people into better circumstances. My heart is often broken for the child born into a broken home. But it also goes out to the mom and or dad who is in this mess. Children born out of wedlock have a place in the kingdom as do the single mom or dad. People make mistakes. People hurt one another.

This morning I was swept through the clouds. Nearly an hour later my chest hurts from the sobbing I encountered, as I felt I was weeping over children and nations. It was unexpected and painful. It was one of those cries where you feel something breaking loose.

In Need Of A Healing?
From time to time I have needed healing in my body, just as others have. I had to trust God for my healing. You may be in that place yourself. God wants you healed and made whole. (1 Chronicles 16:34; 1 John 4:16).
When we are sick it is always God’s heart to heal and restore health and life to you.
Jesus paid the full price for your healing, health and wholeness so you could experience His abundant life. Today, there is no symptom in your body that is too insignificant for Him to care about, and no condition that is greater than what His finished work has accomplished. As I gazed into the “looking glass” I saw two people this morning. One was an older man who was frustrated as his paradigm shifted. A paradigm shift is when you know you can not go back to the way you once thought.
