I read that headline, “Growth Is Excessive” and thought, is it possible? The story was just as exciting…

In a dream I had it was very dark and yet over where the fence was I saw 4 lights like that you might see on a radar screen. “Lee, you have to go get them” I was told. I did not want to but I finally got up and ran down the darkened path to where these lights were. I got them and returned with them. My heart was pounding.

The lights had been carriers of darkness in the dream. They were targets to be removed. It was time to shut them out. And they were.

That headline I saw was about the growth of the Christian church. “Growth Is Excessive”.

I will get back to this shortly.

A conversation with an old friend involved much talk about where we are going. I look around and I get it is easy to see that we might not “look like” we a re moving ahead, but folks I am here to tell you we are.

The circumstances of America, of the globe are changeable. And I mean for the better! I told my friend that every time I start to walk down the “path of destruction” in my head, I am reminded of the great goodness of the Lord. This scripture plows through my mind!
…29″And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, 30while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” 31And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:29-31

If God is for us…

I told my friend so much of our “current” situation is related not so much as to “people are bad” but the church in its warped thinking abdicated its moral position, disappearing in fear and hiding its light while waiting for impending doom and the subsequent “bus” out of here. Proverbs 10:30 The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land. Where ill the “wicked” go? Perhaps they turn to light!

As I removed the green lights, the targets in the dream, fear was removed. What we see as the enemy creates fear. It is time to over come. You are not a “worm”(Isaiah 41:14) but a child of the king! It is who you are. Your new name is “sledge”.  (Read the scripture!)

The churches – in the eastern province of Zhejiang – are currently facing demolition or having their crosses removed, activists claim. Other churches are said to have been ordered to make themselves “less conspicuous” by turning their lights off at night.

It is time for us to stop complaining about the land of Hollywood and raise up those to produce movies extolling His goodness. You don’t have to use the word grace to extend grace., love to show His love or truth to magnify His truth. (Maybe it is time for a “white hat” to show and darkness to be “lit up”.)

However, in a recent speech the provincial official in charge of religious affairs hinted at Communist Party discomfort at how fast congregations were growing in what is already considered China’s most Christian region. More than one million of Wenzhou’s nine million residents are thought to be practicing Protestants, according to some estimates. (Deuteronomy 32:30)

Time to stop complaining about the lack of ethics in business and begin to move business and its ethics back into the light. Time to stop complaining about Common Core and overturn it with education that makes sense. (Get involved with your kids. Don’t have any? Find some!)

Don’t like politics? Who represents you? Get involved. Run for office. Change our nation! (Let me be upfront in this. I do not see AFA(healthcare) working…today. I do not see my taxes getting lower…today. But tomorrow is right around the corner! Jesus paid taxes and He healed the sick!)

My friend I visited yesterday spoke of the “silent” generation, born 1928-1945. He described his feelings of irrelevancy. Folks, we need this generation to NOT be silent. Especially in the church!

In the church we talk about the frontiers of the 7 mountains: business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family and religion.

Who can change these? We can! “Christianity’s growth ‘excessive’”! Do you see that? The light is getting brighter! Toss overboard the sounds of negativity (Not the people!) and open your mouths with praise! Don’t hunker down but stand up!

The church is the light. When we enter a room things get brighter. When we enter a field of business or a place of business, it begins to hear the “sound of the kingdom”.

Excessive growth! How long before the light is everywhere? Stop believing the lies of darkness and destruction. Come out of the bunkers of fear and change the world! It doesn’t take persecution to grow. The church grows in SPITE of the persecution! (Isaiah 9:7) “Put your money” in the light and not the darkness!
