One By One In New England

leejohndrowteamThis morning I shared a story of a fire across the land of New England. It was a word the Lord gave me with regard to awakening or revival. A timing in and of the Lord, where hearts are changed and focused on Him. The place where His goodness overcomes that which has previously “opposed” or been oblivious of Him.

A little while later I watched a helicopter view of a portion of New England that had been burned by fire. (The dryness, winds and a spark and up it went.) And while I was watching it I felt the impression that the Lord was saying something to me. I shut down my computer and walked away from digital thinking. I heard “one by one”.

All day long I have given contemplation to that. When I first heard it, I actually was not bewildered but a little excited. In part because I was hearing but also because it touched something inside. One by one. As I keyed in on what was said, I felt something. I saw a marble hit another which hit another. As the marbles were sent from different places I saw them cross paths in their pursuit to reach their destiny of connections. Criss-crossing, they bounced, pushing another into motion.

All day long it has been in the back of my mind. The connections. The motion.

I believe we are going to see people touched by prayer, changed by healing and moved by His goodness in the days ahead.

New England and its people are often cautious in their pursuit of relationships. But as I saw the connections, I saw “people” who had not been touched before by His goodness finding Him. Their cautiousness was broken as they were “moved” by another.

When I was a child, I played a lot of marbles. And they marbles had names. Agates, puries, steelies and more. Some were beautiful, while others were cloudy or opaque. Each one had a value, a worth. Some had functions like a shooter or a boulder.

New England has a vast variety of “marble”.

In the following days three things will shape New England…

  • Relationships-The one on one meetings and subsequent relationships will move New England.
  • Goodness-The understanding of how good He is and that being shared.
  • Love-His love is permeating, “tenderizing”, preparing.

Like that fire I watched. A tree will catch fire and light the next one or those around. They will burn brightly. What was dry will burst into flame magnificently. And the wind of the Spirit, coupled with the wind of a changing atmosphere will ignite New England.

At some point there will be so many connections it will blaze like a forest fire. Reaching critical mass, the region will be ablaze.

It has been “dry” too long.
