Fishing For Men

leejohndrowteamThe unbaited hook was tossed in the river again and again. No fish took the hook. Finally on the last cast the hook got caught on a large cement mooring block.

I awoke from that dream and immediately this scripture came in to view. Continue reading Fishing For Men

Legacy Is Light And Life

"Use me!"
“Use me!”

In a dream last night I met with this young person. He was perhaps 20-25 years old. As we talked, He unfolded His knowledge of things. His knowledge included things of God and the Bible. As we continued to talk and I asked questions, more and more his answers were, “I do not know” or I do not know how to do that”. As I left him and continued my journey even in the dream I realized he did not have a “clue” about so many things. He had even shared with me his church experiences and he had seen some very cool things. But these were relegated to an entertainment “status” in mind. Not something he or his friends planned on doing or even knew how to do. His plan was to become more educated, to learn more. Continue reading Legacy Is Light And Life

Preparation Of The Fields

leejohndrowteamLast night as we prayed in our home fellowship, I saw 3 visions that I have decided to share this morning. They were oil bubbling up out of the ground. Veins of gold (Not nuggets) appearing. And the third was gemstones being recovered. I also saw meadows of blooming flowers. Prior to this I had seen a disk harrow upturning the ground. Whole Lotta Shaking’ Going On

"Use me!"
“Use me!”

When Elvis Presley sang about being “all shook up” he was talking about love. But here so many years later there are people walking about who are all shook up, as well… And it is about love. His love for us!

The declaration of “your kingdom come, your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven” is an invitation for shaking. An invitation to God to appear. To emerge through His people. The earth at one point had fallen under the kingship of evil. It is being shaken. Exactly what can be shaken? Empires, governments, monarchies, banks, businesses, churches, families, individuals and anything else available! Continue reading Whole Lotta Shaking’ Going On

Without The Shedding Of Blood…

leejohndrowteamI recently found out that some of my grandchildren had not been to see sap boiled in a New England sugar house. So, I made the decision to take them.

A friend has a sugar house and yesterday after checking with him, I found out what time they would begin boiling. Determining that, we headed out a short time later. As we went up the hill to the small farm, my mind flashed to times in my life where I had helped to gather sap, get it to the sugar house and spend way too many hours to develop what many call “liquid gold”. (I love the taste.) Continue reading Without The Shedding Of Blood…

Who’s Side Are We On?

leejohndrowteamPush. Pull. Get what you want. Hurt people in the process.

James 4:1-2 Where do you think all these appalling wars and quarrels come from? Do you think they just happen? Think again. They come about because you want your own way, and fight for it deep inside yourselves. You lust for what you don’t have and are willing to kill to get it. You want what isn’t yours and will risk violence to get your hands on it. You wouldn’t think of just asking God for it, would you? And why not? Because you know you’d be asking for what you have no right to. You’re spoiled children, each wanting your own way. Continue reading Who’s Side Are We On?

Off The Treadmill To Still Waters

leejohndrowteamHamster wheels and treadmills.

Those two thoughts are often used to describe life when it begins to develop a momentum of its own or fails to get the user to where they need to be or desire to be. Since my short few days at the hospital last week I have taken a long, hard serious look at my life and what I need to change or at least put under the microscope. So many thoughts run through my mind as to how I arrived at this place. Continue reading Off The Treadmill To Still Waters

Life Changes And I Go Where They Go

leejohndrowteamYesterday I wrote about plumbing the depth of my heart for love. To exaggerate his goodness. A few hours later I was sitting in a hospital.

It had started with not feeling well the night before, but after being at work a few hours, I realized I was not “connecting the dots”. Unable to think things through. So, I mentioned this to my boss. I called the hospital and was sent to the nurse’s station. I was not there but a moment or two and they escorted me to the Emergency Room. What I thought was going to be routine turned into an all day experience with me being admitted. Continue reading Life Changes And I Go Where They Go
