Often times on a Saturday I review the week I had. I think about what I might have done better. What went well. Even those “wow, where did that come from” moments. Most of those are good! Saturdays are often a day for me to reflect on my little pile of notes I accumulate, read through some things I want to cover and on most weekends plan on spending some time with a few grandchildren. Continue reading Always A Choice, Always A Chance

Letting Go And Choosing God
This week I will attend the funeral of a young person. This week I met with a young person planning for his future.
The tale of two places. One ahead. One dead. Through out life we encounter choice, chance and opportunity. What will we do? How will we choose? Continue reading Letting Go And Choosing God
The Choice Is Yours
Too often in my conversations with people I find people tempted to bypass something for the sake of ignorance or the lack of attention. We have developed an “its all good” mentality when the very reason they are “here” is because they chose to avoid or disdain a “then” opportunity. Continue reading The Choice Is Yours
Better Is One Day In Your Courts…
As I sat on the ledge of the 12th story window, I looked out and there before me were choices. All I had to do was reach out from my perch high above the street and grab one. I looked around. Not only was there no safety nets or cables, but the choices while floating in the air danced in the wind.
The choice was for more power, more reach. As I looked around the city street, I noticed that many were sitting in the windows, faced with the same challenge of thought. And even as I watched people reached out from their place of safety and grabbed. They grabbed on to the floating item held in the air before them. And immediately dropped to street, screaming all the way. Continue reading Better Is One Day In Your Courts…
Exchange-A Giving To Get
I have spoken about this before. The exchange of what one has for something of perceived or better value. Sometimes one makes an exchange, just to get back to square one. Or to be even.
One of the reasons that sales or selling work is you have product or service in which people will exchange money and/or merchandise or service, in the case of barter, to obtain what they are looking for. Continue reading Exchange-A Giving To Get
In The Garden There Is Fruit
In the middle of the night I awoke from a dream. In the dream a person was wandering around, unable to connect with any one. They would move from one person to another. Sometimes for a moment and sometimes for longer. As I lay in the darkness and thought about it I began to realize something. It had to do with the topic of value. Value of one’s self and value of others.
Only yesterday I spent time with someone trying to explain their “lifestyle” was becoming problematic to their relationships. Not so sure they bought it. Why? Because they were right. It is easier to “move on” than it is to “stay in”. Continue reading In The Garden There Is Fruit

Health, Wealth & Happiness, Are They Really True?
When the world speeds up and you want to get off, what do you do? Do you hunker down? Hide? Run away? With every bit of gained “maturity” we find that the “geographical cure” only reveals us at the end of the journey. (Didn’t that happen to Jonah? Nothing new under the sun…) Continue reading Health, Wealth & Happiness, Are They Really True?
The Authority And Power Inside
In my dream last night I was teaching in a school. The students were probably high school age, but the unusual part was each day new students would appear and one from the day before would remain. The fast changing atmosphere was interesting in the meeting of the people. The process of just sharing the same information for a month or so was different and not much of a challenge. At the end of the month I would have a class of “left overs” and the real process of what I was to teach was on. Living in the Kingdom while being in the world and integrating the life of the Kingdom to change the world. Continue reading The Authority And Power Inside
A Dog With Two Bones- A Tale Of Choice
In one of my dreams a person had multiple choices before them and the words, “Caesar, Caesar” were being shouted out to them. Upon awakening, I came to the conclusion that the words were really “seize her” pointing out the answer to a choice.
When I was young I was told the story of a dog with two bones. In a nutshell it comes down to choices. The dog could not decide on which bone to choose, so it chooses none and does not eat. Too often in life we have a choice. Continue reading A Dog With Two Bones- A Tale Of Choice
