Last night while praying with my grandchildren, I began to see a vision. A thought first popped into my mind. Darkness becoming light.
What I saw was a pin point of light that began to open up and as that pinpoint became larger more and more became visible. And as more became visible my ability to see further not only to my sides, but out into the distance. Brightness began to infuse my vision. Continue reading This Really Big Light Of Mine…→
I sat here this morning thinking of the pain someone I had known for years was going through. A rough patch. A part of me was “glad” that it was not me. The rest of me had a heart that began to feel their pain as my mind recounted the times I had seen pain of that nature. Continue reading Rough Times In Our Lives→
The last week has been interesting in the fact that it is so foreign to me. Things that are occurring and happening are not things I am used to encountering. So hearing a variety of view points is interesting.
One of the topics this week had to do with responsibility. When something occurs who is responsible? Where does accountability fall? You would be amazed at the answers! Folks, I come from the place, “you jump over the candle and burn your butt you wear the blister”. With that said I am seeing more and more people without a clue. Living life thinking the world owes them a living. Common decency seems to be slipping away. (But I know we can change it!) Continue reading Transformation Changes Everything→
People often ask me or other leaders “what is it can do to make my life better?” Only yesterday a conversation with a new believer was about foundation. Where does one put their energy, their study, their thinking. Continue reading Establishing Heaven On Earth→
I see all too often those that are dragged off course by the error of teaching, the deceptions of life and the unwillingness to rise up. And the hard part is knowing where some of it all ends. As you read this piece today I would like to encourage you to not allow the enemy to draw you to the side, to pull at you and destroy you. Continue reading Is It Time To Celebrate?→
Is there anyone else who is just tired of all of the articles and documentaries and news reports of GMO food, organic versus non-organic, carbs versus proteins,to vaccinate or not vaccinate, etc.? For years I have studied these topics and researched them. I have watched every documentary possible and have made life changes choices after viewing. I have been disgusted with the way animals have been treated and raised and harmed. I have read reports on the China study, which is research that proves dairy and meat are harmful to our bodies and causes cancer, and leaky gut, and a list of other sicknesses. And then I’ve read articles on why grains and carbs are mutated and cause us to get celiac disease and get fat. I mean gosh for every article out there that says one negative thing about something there’s another that proves that it’s positive for you. Talk about confusing. Talk about stressful. And talk about living in fear. Continue reading The Kingdom Is More Than What We Eat Or Drink→
This week I will attend the funeral of a young person. This week I met with a young person planning for his future.
The tale of two places. One ahead. One dead. Through out life we encounter choice, chance and opportunity. What will we do? How will we choose? Continue reading Letting Go And Choosing God→
The last few weeks I have been making an observation. A lot of people who normally walk with their head held high, understanding this is but a “season” have been feeling pushed about. One of the hardest things about a time such is this, is you begin to take it personally. You begin to see it as you and no one else. It begins to unravel thinking about love and acceptance. It may well be a direct challenge to your belief schedule and all that you believe. Continue reading The Pangs Of Change→
I was wandering through the snow near a river. I would see signs that deer or other animals had been along side the river. Sometimes it was but an occasional print or other sign of wild life. Other times there were be the signs of lots of activity. But as I continued along the river, I never saw any animals. And interestingly enough where there were signs of large gatherings, I still saw nothing nor did I see the indicators of the animals leaving together. (I don’t remember seeing anything other than the place where the gathering had been.) Continue reading Is It Revival? The River Of God→
This week my brother completed his 3rd marathon (26.2 miles), running the Chicago Marathon. Number 3 in a year. This one allowed him to gain his best personal time. (5:0:25)And I, of course am proud of him. Continue reading A Run For Life→
