Letting Go And Choosing God

"Use me!"
“Use me!”

This week I will attend the funeral of a young person. This week I met with a young person planning for his future.

The tale of two places. One ahead. One dead. Through out life we encounter choice, chance and opportunity. What will we do? How will we choose? Continue reading Letting Go And Choosing God

For Those Who Have Gone Before Me- Thank You!

2014-05-16 18.40.52Thank a veteran.

Today is Veterans Day in the United States. A day for honoring the men and women of our armed service. A news blog wrote this. …the most productive thing anyone outside the military can do is actually very simple and easy, they say: Strike up a conversation with a veteran. Get to know one of them in a meaningful way. There is a wide cultural gap between Americans who have no relationship with the Armed Forces and those who’ve served their country. Closing that gap is as necessary as it is long overdue. Continue reading For Those Who Have Gone Before Me- Thank You!

The Victory Is Mine!

Ready for God to express Himself.
Ready for God to express Himself.

(Not really a stretch when you think Jesus’s death released people buried. Matthew 27:51-53) Wow! Teach them to believe for the impossible and… Continue reading The Overlook In Your Life

2. The action or process of producing effects on the actions, behavior, opinions, etc., of another or others: Her mother’s influence made her stay. Continue reading My Influence Is Your Influence

Pick Up A Toothpick!

Armed with not much more than a tooth pick he went to war. What would cause a man to defend or to engage in warfare of this sort? Obviously overpowered he won. 600 men dead in his wake.

Sometimes the people you meet will surprise you beyond your wildest imagination.

Judges 3:31 After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath, who struck down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel. Continue reading Pick Up A Toothpick!
