I believe we are wasting some valuable resources in the church. We have often worked so hard to be relevant, that we have downgraded our thinking some times. We have lost some of the things that truly make the church the church. Many of those resources are the folks who went through powerful times. Impartation, meetings and revelation. Maybe they did not handle it right. Maybe others did not. But we can not live our lives as “been there-bought the tshirt” and expect results. There is a cry in the church for change. There is a cry for change in our country and in the globe. Some, perhaps many of those older folks have some keys. Continue reading This Is The Day, This Is The Day…

Always A Choice, Always A Chance
Often times on a Saturday I review the week I had. I think about what I might have done better. What went well. Even those “wow, where did that come from” moments. Most of those are good! Saturdays are often a day for me to reflect on my little pile of notes I accumulate, read through some things I want to cover and on most weekends plan on spending some time with a few grandchildren. Continue reading Always A Choice, Always A Chance
Hearing God Amongst All The Noise
When I originally wrote the book on declarations I think I erred in the fact that people prefer a formula and perhaps I just helped them. Exacerbating the problem with regard to hearing from God. Listening to Him. (Because what if they evaluate it as a formula and it does not work? Are they disappointed with God? Themselves? The formula?) Continue reading Hearing God Amongst All The Noise
To Bee Or Not To Bee A Pro-Vision
On Saturday night I was lying on the bed waiting for my grandchildren to finish brushing their teeth and as I lay there waiting to pray with them a I saw a bumblebee appear. It began to figure 8 in the air. I began to meditate on the appearance of a bee. The children came in to pray and the bee buzzed away. Continue reading To Bee Or Not To Bee A Pro-Vision
How Has Your Garden Grown?
In early 2009 I wrote this. Why recycle things? Because some times our revisit of history reveals things. At least it does for me. It may show me “son, this is not the first time I have talked to you about this.” Or it may show that things happened the way I or others saw it or perhaps they happened, not as we might have seen. Continue reading How Has Your Garden Grown?
Arisen In New England
A few days ago, I was praying about some things and I felt this powerful pressure come upon me. It caused me to sense I was in His presence. I grabbed my phone and recorded what was being said. Part of it I am going to share today. I sense that it is for today predicated on a few things. The world seems to be moving in slow motion this morning. And I had a powerful dream that I am going to have to process through. I had something totally different to work on this morning in mind, but I believe this is it. Continue reading Arisen In New England
The Thing About Love In The Church
Many years ago I was in preparation for a meeting. It was in Maine. I made the decision to take a young man with me. The meeting was in ministry to the unbeliever, specifically seekers of false religions, including witchcraft, new age and paganism. Continue reading The Thing About Love In The Church
Geography Matters To God
For many a year I have been taken with geography in the kingdom. The idea of being in the right place at the right time OR being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We relegate so much of the kingdom to “serendipity” rather than faith, discernment and wisdom.
How did we get here? Continue reading Geography Matters To God
Behind Closed Doors
The other day a friend made a post about process. His analogy used the old Polaroid picture. When they first came out there was gels and jellies. But essentially it was as “instant” as it could get. The difficulty was that these photos did not necessarily have lasting effect or good quality. Continue reading Behind Closed Doors
The Pull Of The Pendulum
The swing of the pendulum. The counting of time. The force. The pull.
Yesterday as I sat in a meeting I saw a clock that was wrong. It ran slowly, out of synch. (Because it is a friend’s, I want to ask him “who does that? How do you live with that?”) My wife would tell you I am intuitive about time, whether it is getting up, how long we have been somewhere, etc.. (Ironically for me, laughter captured me and I was teleported to another dimension. I lost “time”!) Continue reading The Pull Of The Pendulum
