Business Thoughts For The End of 2013

dronesofheaven

cropped-cover1.jpgThe next few days are going to be very busy for me (As well as my wife, Tina.) as we close out the year of 2013. What a wonderful year of family, friends, faith, fun and food.

2013 events included the April marriage of our daughter Amy to the love of her life, Manley. What an amazing time as Tina and I celebrated 20 years with her wedding in St. Lucia. And now they are expecting in May 2014. There is another addition coming to our family as well and we will update you on that shortly. In September Tina and I moved to a nice apartment to the north of downtown.

It has been a very exciting year at our local fellowship, The Village Church, where such an outpouring of the goodness of God and the building of friendships has been happening.

Love wins.

The next few days will be busy for many of us, but in this I just wanted to bring folks up to date.

What are we saying?
While getting ready to make declarations over our offering in our local fellowship, Mark shared from one of Steve Backlund’s books about the power of declaration. It reminded me of the book I wrote on declaration and decree. This book is called The Drones of Heaven. So many question what they are to say, how to say it, etc., and those reasons were some of the reasons I wrote this short book.  It is available in multiple formats here at the website. Use the following coupon code to save 50% through January 30th 2014. AK43P Coupon code (You can buy copies for friends and family.)

Over the next few days (Before the end of the year.) I hopefully will be posting the following articles I have been working on.

  • Word for 2014-The Lord has been prompting me with these thoughts and it was complete as I sat with two friends in a restaurant near the airport.)
  • Word for our local fellowship-This is nearly complete.
  • An article on deception-on my desktop
  • An article on polarization -on my desktop
  • An article on “how we get there” -on my desktop
  • An article on 5 chefs in the kitchen-on my desktop

Completion of the handbook for our prophetic rooms will soon be done.

I also am working on a few business plans that people have encouraged me to pursue. They include a “get together” app, a building community site and app, a site for helping small businesses and sellers. (Anyone who knows of a person or people that build apps, please let me know.)

My book’s most recent edit showed up over the holidays. I would like to find a couple of people who would be interested in reading it. Please contact me.

Guest bloggers-I am always looking for people with the capability to share truths about Jesus in a grace-filled way. Please contact me.

Needs
Other than prayer I would like to have the following occur:

  • App designer
  • Someone familiar with Smashwords and Createspace logistics for ebooks
  • Interested bloggers-both to write for us and to receive our blogs
  • Editors and people capable of assembling books

The last area to update is Tina and I have been blessed despite here losing her job. Neither one of us has been hired to date despite interviews and such and yet God has taken us through it. With that in mind some have asked if the can send support of any type. The answer of course is yes. We have a Paypal link here on the site or click the “donations” button at top.

As we close out 2013, I want to say thanks to each of you who have participated in our lives whether in prayer, phone calls or emails. We love you.

In A New Season

vision
Don’t lose your vision.

I am in a new season of my life. So many things have changed in the last year. Only a little more than a year ago I was in the publishing business. Then mysterious illness overtook me. One day I was up and the next day I was violently ill. It caused me to not be able to go ahead in what I was doing.

The next year was pretty crazy and here I am. Sickness was caused environmentally so moving resolved it, but I had a lot of time to think.

What I am finding and being encouraged in is something new. It has to do with where I fellowship and what I do. Team building and education are two of the big parts. Continue reading In A New Season

Amminadab-Part Of Your Spiritual DNA

Lee JohndrowThis morning I began reading through the New Testament. Often I “skip” the genealogies. But today I felt God had something fresh. As I scrolled through the names, the name Amminadab jumped off the page.  I went and looked it up. Who was he? (He was part of the tribe of Levites, carrier of the ark.) Why was he important? (I know he was in the lineage leading up to Jesus.) And there it was! “My people give freely!”

MY PEOPLE GIVE FREELY

No sooner had I read it than I felt my heart leap. I thought to myself let me go think on this. Believe it or not my heart began to drop. I had to physically leave the room I was in because I was “feeling” something and not something I wanted to feel. I began to get a “sinking” feeling. Healing and You

Lee JohndrowThe Lord has been speaking to me about healing. A few years ago David Wagner gave me a word about healing. I have pondered it, thought about it and done what I believe I could as I asked God to reveal more and more to me.

In the meantime we are hearing of some powerful testimonies about God healing cancer and all manners of illness. Weekly I hear of the power of God moving in people’s lives bringing healing.

I am a reader and I do follow the news. Not to become fearful, but to speak into the things that I believe need to be changed. This week I ran across two headlines.

‘We’ve reached the end of antibiotics’: Top CDC expert declares that ‘miracle drugs’ that have saved millions are no match against ‘superbugs’ because people have overmedicated themselves…

And

Study: Reservoir Of Hidden HIV Possibly 60 Times Greater Than Previous Estimates

Neither one of those intimidates God. He has healed the sick and raised the dead. (Funny that yesterday our children’s church teacher taught the kids about raising the dead. On the way home Jacob prayed for a sick friend and then he started with “raise the dead, raise the dead, raise the dead.” Yeah-that’s what I am talking about!)

We are in time where it is not time to be fearful but to recognize the power of the finished work of Jesus and the stripes He bore on His back to pay for your healing.

I am not fearful. God knows He heals. And if He knows it we ought to as well. He says to “lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover.”  Doesn’t get much easier than that.

If you are sick, God is desirous to see you whole, healed and delivered of illness.

All those headlines really mean is we can still turn to Him.

Once Again Diamonds

Just a thought?
Just a thought?

Folks-whenever we think we can we are reminded that we can.

Here is a link of the blessing of the Lord in a young girl’s world as she finds a 3.85 carat diamond.

You may remember I wrote about another diamond not too long ago in Table Size in August.

God has coins in the fishes mouth. He does not need us to bring something, because we have brought Him.

Bumps Along The Way

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

Years ago the Lord spoke to my heart and said “many are the ones who carry scars of the past, but those who allow for wounds to be untouched and not stop bleeding will never see resolution.”

This morning I awoke and I was thinking about a dream I had. In the dream the Lord showed me people who had given up just inches from their victory, moments from their deliverance. I was reminded of the old cartoons where a man would head for an oasis in a desert seeking water. Many skeletons were found just minutes from the waters of the respite. Beware Of How You Treat Others

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

Prior to my encounter with Christ some 20 years ago in a grocery store, my life was to say the least, pretty chaotic. Part of that lifestyle left me with a trail of broken relationships. Even skipping some of the wrongful parts of my life, I always seemed like I was moving on to a new relationship. Even coming into Christianity I was still unraveling many of the characteristics that caused me to “lose” relationships.

But I soon learned the value of retaining relationships. In part because Christ was “doing a work” in my life and godly men and women were participating in my growth. I am thankful for the participation of these folks. Continue reading Beware Of How You Treat Others

Pride Raises Your Head High

A Snippet Of Truth
A Snippet Of Truth

The Lord is taking me into a new season for whatever the reason. Over the weekend He began to speak to me about various things that He was calling traps of the enemy. This morning I wrote about one of the greatest traps being the deception that leads one away from rest.

The Lord has given me a study to consider out of the book of Nehemiah that I will be breaking out soon, but along the way He has had me revisit various things from my childhood. One of those things is the fables of Aesop and Hans Christian Anderson. Continue reading Pride Raises Your Head High

What Are You Doing With The Car?

We could take grampa's apart.
We could take grampa’s apart.

A little thought I had.
Jimmy turns 16 and Dad gives him a gift.
“Here are the keys to the car Jimmy.”
“Thanks Dad! WOW! I really appreciate it.”
“Jimmy you can go anywhere I go and do anything with the car I would.”
“Thanks Dad! You do not know how much this means to me!”
Hours later Dad checks in on Jimmy and he is still sitting there with the keys in his hands.
“Jimmy? I thought you would be using the car. I gave you the car and the keys to use it.”
“Dad! Thanks so much for the car! Thanks for the keys!…Aren’t you going to do this?”
Jesus gave you and I the keys to the kingdom, the authority to use them… So, like what are we thinking here? Stop looking at the news and asking God to “drive” when He asked you to “drive”!!!!
