I had a dream where I had just taken on a new job and people decided it was their time to prank me. To make fun of me by filing false contracts (No one is buying 2,388 cars today, I am pretty sure of it…)Throughout the dream I had to reach out and uncover the “fraud” of clients and the pranks of fun loving folks. Much of “my time” was spent determining what was truth and what was not. My skills were high, but a few still tried to get things by me. Continue reading Repair At Ground Level

Why Wisdom? Why Not? Why, Why, Why
One of my dreams last night was a trip that I had to take to a small community nearby. But for some reason the way we were going to go was more of a round the mountain trip. We could go dead south(fastest), or in this case travel slightly west at which point we had a more direct route or the road that went around. For some reason I sensed the longer trip was the one, but I struggled with the idea that it was going to take more time and more miles And while the longer route was settled and okay, there was a feeling of “why”. The Rest That Refreshes!

One of the big topics in my life is rest. Not fall asleep kind of rest, but the one where you relax in Him. Yesterday began to remove my peace, my sense of well being. A manufacturer had done me wrong. They have a rule and they broke it. Their answer was “maybe the next time”. Meanwhile the pain went from being done wrong to being angry and needing to go for multiple walks.
I want to share something I wrote in February of 2008 about the beginnings of my truly catching more and more about the rest of God. Hebrews 3:19 Continue reading The Rest That Refreshes!
How Has Your Garden Grown?
In early 2009 I wrote this. Why recycle things? Because some times our revisit of history reveals things. At least it does for me. It may show me “son, this is not the first time I have talked to you about this.” Or it may show that things happened the way I or others saw it or perhaps they happened, not as we might have seen. Rejoice For God Is Here!
The following is something I wrote some nearly ten years ago.
When I was young I was on a camping trip and we had gone a very long way into the wilderness. And as we approached the lake I could see their was still ice in the distance. I thought, the last place I want to be is in that water. On the other hand, I had sweated myself up to the place where not being clean was high on my agenda. So, as we circled everything up and got things prepared for dinner, I decided I was going to take a swim. I went over to a little bank, perhaps 4-5 above the water and looked in and decided a shallow dive and a quick swim over to the small “beach.” Now, I will tell you, my brothers and I played hockey on a few marginally frozen ponds and going through the ice had not been “that bad.” Probably because I had neglected to remember that it had probably not included total immersion. In I went. As soon as I hit that water with the tips of my fingers, I knew that life was going to be exciting. As I plunged in I felt what could only be described as heart stopping. My swim was as short as I could make it. And let me tell you it was a rush. I was giddy, trying to think through. I got out of the water and more cold took over. Now, that was cold weather camping or winter camping. Continue reading Rejoice For God Is Here!
Arisen In New England
A few days ago, I was praying about some things and I felt this powerful pressure come upon me. It caused me to sense I was in His presence. I grabbed my phone and recorded what was being said. Part of it I am going to share today. I sense that it is for today predicated on a few things. The world seems to be moving in slow motion this morning. And I had a powerful dream that I am going to have to process through. I had something totally different to work on this morning in mind, but I believe this is it. Be Wary Of Eeyore-A Time Of Merry

“I saw that!”
Even as a child I saw things. Walking statues, dreams about dinosaurs, the knowledge about things before they happened. People think it is a blessing, but undisciplined, prophecy and seeing is a pain. In the beginning it is fun, but if you do not learn about rest and entering in to a place of peace, the things that are seen can be a great place of concern. (By the way I am NOT talking about being suspicious or wary of everything.)You find yourself thinking about people going through difficult things and hard times. The Thing About Love In The Church
Many years ago I was in preparation for a meeting. It was in Maine. I made the decision to take a young man with me. The meeting was in ministry to the unbeliever, specifically seekers of false religions, including witchcraft, new age and paganism. Continue reading The Thing About Love In The Church
Geography Matters To God
For many a year I have been taken with geography in the kingdom. The idea of being in the right place at the right time OR being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We relegate so much of the kingdom to “serendipity” rather than faith, discernment and wisdom.
How did we get here? Continue reading Geography Matters To God
“The Happiest Sound” To Be Heard

Years ago I met a man. He showed up on my doorstep. He was physically hunched over. His life changed by an accident. He said “I heard you would help me to get services”. I invited him in. A friend had told him about me and my wife. As I looked at this broken man I thought something is getting ready to happen. I asked if I could pray for him. As I did I could hear cracks and pops as bones and joints aligned. I was young in the Lord. Send me into a drug den to preach I was good with, but a man who was broken and hurt (One leg had shortened some 5 inches from the encounter of his vehicle and a ten wheeler.)I was not so good with. As I prayed for him he fell forward, across the coffee table (Aren’t people supposed to fall backwards?!?!?)and into my arms. He sounded like a breakfast cereal as snaps, crackles and pops kept coming from his body. I had a moment as his leg grew out. A while later I was looking at a new man. There was no trip to find him services that day or any other. He came to live with my wife and I. One of the many that would live with us over the years.
