Prophetic Word for The Village Church 2014

dronesofheaven

2014prophecyThis morning while I was praying I felt the Lord quicken me about a word related to the Village fellowship my wife and I attend. Many want to know what “church” will look like in 2014.

This is what I believe The Village Church will see in the coming days. Continue reading Prophetic Word for The Village Church 2014

Don’t Be Fooled-“I Need A Hero”

can we talkI sat there this morning and read a few posts and thought people are in need. People need help. The difficulty was they were too often turning to a man or a woman with the belief that one person was going to save them, rescue them.

Too many are relying on the gift or calling of God in helping them avoid their personal growing up process. In the worst of cases this can turn to manipulation, groveling, self-degradation and a life style rife with dangerous results. Continue reading Don’t Be Fooled-“I Need A Hero”

12-30-2013 Thought – Words Made Real

changeprocessLast night before I fell asleep, I felt this in my spirit.

I was thinking about the 2014 prophecy I shared yesterday. I thought how many will read a word like that and not see it change them. Not just my words or this word, but any word.

Words Made Real

Every word that is given to you in your life has the potential to be spirit. Just as a word goes from a logos word (A “head” word-one that is read or viewed only.) to a rhema word (A “heart” word-one that occupies and is energized.) or a word that is now. (I recognize that logos is used for scripture or Jesus and rhema has to do with utterance.) You are the decider of that. Continue reading 12-30-2013 Thought – Words Made Real

The Runway Of God 2014 – 10 Fresh Realities

Lee Johndrow
Lee is on staff with The Village Church in Swanzey New Hampshire. He functions prophetically and often writes from dreams and visions. This is a 2014 thought process from dreams and visions.

I live fairly close to our local airport. I love airports. As a child I would go to East Haven Connecticut’s Tweed New Haven Airport, lie on the roof of my parent’s car and watch them take off and land.

I enjoy going over to the Keene airport here where I live just to watch the planes land and take off. There is something about it that intrigues me. It is one thing to see automotive traffic converge at a 4 way intersection but still another to watch planes as they land or take off from the additional dimension of altitude. Do You Need A Pool Of Siloam?

Just a thought?
Just a thought?

This morning my friend Mark shared about dream and purpose being used interchangeably. He incorporated thought process with the theme from the movie, The Field Of Dreams.

When I entered the fellowship building I heard the words “Pool of Siloam.” I began to think about what it meant.

Couple it with this. Continue reading Do You Need A Pool Of Siloam?

A Nom de Plume-Who Am I?

Who are you? No, really who are you? (Sounds like Bill Cosby’s Noah.)

Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised by the number of requests I received of my blog and articles and some of the unusual places they ended up. (Ironically, none of them are “Christian” in nature which is fine with me, just interesting.)

But in the midst of it, I received a question about “pen names” or a nom de plume. I had never considered it to be frank. Not that I really am now. (I have done “roving reporter” type stuff never using my name or anything.) Continue reading A Nom de Plume-Who Am I?

What Are You Looking For?

zombiesIt’s not there! Yay! Gone! My sin is gone!

I spent a lot of my walk with God missing understanding about various scriptures in regard to grace. There was a time where I was sin conscious and not God conscious especially when it came to me.

Stop looking to be a zombie!

The last few days there has been a lot of food in my home. Everything from pies, pastries and cookies, (Did you know *Peter Percival…?) to turkey, ham, potatoes and more. (I limit myself and avoid **sweet potatoes!) So much food with so little time. Continue reading What Are You Looking For?

Christmas Day In The Morning

2013-12-20 20.24.23Air hockey! Toboggan! BB guns!

Each year my parents would buy our family one “major” gift. As children we would be up sometime around 5AM and head towards the living room door. We were not allowed “in” the living room, so looking over at the gifts that were not there the night before in the hallway light was just “painful.”

Our family traditions were simple on so many levels. Once our parents were up we were allowed to open handmade stockings from our grandmothers. They contained gold coin chocolate, tangerines and walnuts, as well as one or two special smaller gifts. Then off to breakfast, to return to open the larger gifts. Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag

Christmas2007 011Yesterday was a very full day. I was getting so many things ready in preparation for the appearance of family and friends. Whether it was taking one of my grandsons for a haircut, heading to the store or just trying to think through the logistics of the days to come.

Today I will begin the food preparations, take my granddaughter Mariah out for a special time and do a thing or two with Jacob today. My plan is to be all said and done by 3 or so today. Then off to be with friends and family at our church Christmas Eve service  this evening. Continue reading Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag

A Dream Of Goodness

vision
Don’t lose your vision.

Not every dream I have is a “multi-user” dream. Many of my dreams speak to me, others for individuals, a church and then there are the broad spectrum dreams that are fora lot of people.

Lately we have seen a lot of blessing. Not millions yet, but lots of $100, $500 and a few $1000 blessings headed to people. Yesterday I went to visit my oldest son, his wife and their baby before picking up my grandson Jacob to spend the Christmas week with me.

On the way home I needed to buy gas. I realized I had a choice. Buy gas in Vermont (In May they added a new gas tax.) or squeak across across the line and buy it in my home state of New Hampshire. So imagine my surprise when i was approaching the border and there was a single gas station left and I felt the nudge from the Lord, “this is the place.” Hmmmm… So, I hesitantly pulled in. I put my card in. It asked for a rewards card. I plugged that in. (I had not used it in over a year.) How amazed was I when it recorded a $.15 a gallon discount. I filled up.

The last few days I have had various dreams and a vision about the goodness of God. Continue reading A Dream Of Goodness
