Déjà vu And You

leejohndrowteamHave you ever been some where you know you have been before? Seen the same people? Deja vu? What if it was true that you had really been there? That happened to me last night.

I was in a meeting in our fellowship. A meeting of leaders. A meal to bless them to be followed by a worship time and sharing by a great friend, Randall Worley Continue reading Déjà vu And You

A Pearl Of Great Price

preachingatvillageYesterday I wrote what the Lord was speaking in light of powerful meeting the night before. Predicated on observation, I felt the presence and push of the Lord.

One of the first things I had heard was “New England-Its your time-its your season”. And since I had no faves in the Super Bowl I was certain that He was speaking of the spiritual season we are in. But at the end of the article I was lead to share this about the Patriots. “And the Pats? Look for the unlikely to arise.” And last night a man named Butler stepped in in the last 3 plays. A rookie. Beat once on an amazing catch in the 5 yard area, moments later he stole the ball with an interception. Game saved. A name like Butler, moments left, a rookie…there is a lot to draw from the game, but I won’t. I leave it your conversation with the Father. Continue reading A Pearl Of Great Price

A New Side Of Prepping

"Use me!"
“Use me!”

Yesterday I wrote on revival and more specifically the growing wave of His presence in the New England area. Many many people read and shared this word with friends and of course, I would like to say thank you. I think the growing consensus is that what we embraced, held fast during powerful times of revival, renewal and the presence of God did not carry over into the lives we lived. I get it. People quit jobs, left spouses and abandoned children. But any believer who has opened their Bible knows that, that type of behavior is NOT reflective of God, His character or His teaching. That response was not God. Continue reading A New Side Of Prepping

Udderstanding – Get Off The Milk!

2014-03-15 11.16.51Many years ago my wife and I were traveling through Toronto. Toronto is a very large city. My wife had the map on her lap and I was driving. As the road turned into 8 lanes, I said “hurry up, I am not sure where we are”. This created instant panic and I had to apologize because I really did know where we were, but was kidding around. Okay, so that was not very nice or funny. (Did I ever tell you…) Continue reading Udderstanding – Get Off The Milk!

Where You Rest In Is Where You Are Best In

runwayWhile in service on Sunday morning I watched the, a highway, open before me. A highway that went through a mountainous range.  Suddenly the vehicle I was riding in accelerated and we were quickly moving so fast that my distance disappeared and everything soon became my now. I realized anywhere I wanted to be I was. There was no time “to get there.” My seasons had been “pulled into now.” It was if a 3D picture no longer had distance or perspective. It was all “here”! 2D. (2D or not 2D? Perhaps that is the question…)

I get that sometimes we just want to “get out of this to get into that.” Maybe your now is a little painful or a little boring. (Boring is a good time to evaluate that which is about you!) And if I could just get to there, maybe, just maybe my world would make more sense. A better job, a new girlfriend or boyfriend or some expected happening. That would make me “better”. So life may become a time of prayer and fasting, or declarations and decrees, or applying the principles of the last book you read. (You do realize that sometimes the principles that made people healthy, wealthy and wise did not just “happen” for the most part, right? And that God may well have a better, more individualized answer for you?) Please hear me…God is in the process. He is more concerned with the process that He is the destination. What Would Happen? If Well…God Showed Up!

vision
Don’t lose your vision.

I want to ask you something. What would happen if you went to your church fellowship this week and…

As you were worshipping God, people began to shriek from the power of the healings entering their bodies? People simply came to the front and cried and wept and thanked God for His goodness. What if angels began to walk in the service and were visible to more than a few? That the worship team could not contain their joy or the power of His spirit? That people spontaneously gave their life over to Him? That tears and laughter filled the house? Continue reading What Would Happen? If Well…God Showed Up!
